Finished up the valve seals replacement on the L15 10Th Gen Si motor with fresh oem parts. New head gasket and reassembly in progress. Next up is a fresh rebuild and upgrade for the trans from Synchrotech.

We got the 10th Gen L15 apart. After a recent head rebuild and built lower end swap, Rob was having smoke issues. What we found was oil collecting on the back of the valve. Once we looked further we found a valve seal that was improperly installed. Which once the valve was installed, it actually rode against the seal leaving a nice gap that allowed oil to drip right down. After a good tear down and cleaning we will redo all the seals, clean and lap the valves, and get this back together!

Back at it with this built 10th gen L15 in for inspection. Cylinder 4 causing some problems so we are gonna tear apart and see what the issue is. Stay tuned!

Disassembled and gave this l*d bseries trans a good cleaning. Some fresh paint (per customer request) and swapped over an LS 5th gear. Final checks before we seal and close it up. Next time we see this trans, it will be bolted up to the latest b series monster!

Cleaned up the outer case on this b series trans and a fresh coat of paint def improved the look. This will look fresh when bolted to the b series monster build 💪🏻
