This hits the nail on the head
Just listening to Karine Jean-Pierre again talk about the rich aren't paying their fare share. I really do believe they hope people don't do thier own homework and/of think for themselves and just believe thier lies. So, lets lay down some facts:
• In the FY2022 IRS collected more than $4.9 trillion
• Top 1% of the tax payers paid 46% of the $4.9 trillion
• 1% is defined as those make over $683,000
• Number of tax returns processed for in 2022 150 million returns
• Number of 1% tax payers = 1,500,000
• 1 % tax payers pay 46% of $4.9 trillion = $2.54Trillion which equates to each one of these tax payers paying about $1.5Million per 1% tax payer
• Average tax paid by remaining taxpayers = $2.646 trillion / 147,172,000 ≈ $18,000
So when they say the rich to pay their fair share, on average, they pay $1.5Million per tax payer, while on average, the rest of us pay $18,000.
So to put this into prespective, for 2022, if you make over $540,000, the IRS takes 37 cents of every dollar over. Think about that, for every dollar you earn, you get to keep 67 cents of it.
Not that I am anywhere near being in that top 1%, but just get tired of all of the lies the this administration is telling us and people believeing it.
If you don't think paying almost 40% of every dollar isn't fair, please tell me what would be fair?
These people are lying about everything!!!
Sorry to rant, just get tired of all of this and we need this people out.
I wish I had a better understanding of life insurance and wealth protection when I was younger. James Domino has really helped me understand so much better. If I knew than what I know know, I would have done things differently.
