Thank you Buffalo Botanical Gardens for going orange 🧡 for MS Awareness week!!
Tonight through March 15, we are lighting the dome orange for MS awareness 🧡
The week of March 12, 2023 is MS Awareness week. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. Currently there is no cure. Symptoms vary from person to person and may include disabling fatigue, mobility challenges, cognitive changes, and vision issues. An estimated 1 million people live with MS in the United States. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical to minimize disability. Significant progress is being made to achieve a world free of MS.

Yesterday was the start of MS State Action Week in New York and we are advocating to protect Medicaid and to improve access to affordable MS medications through pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) transparency. We hope you will join us by taking action now and click below!
We are asking legislators to support a Medicaid budget that:
Rejects the 2% Global Cap
Rejects Medicaid cuts to Social Service programs
Preserves patient protections, including Spousal Refusal and Prescriber Prevails
Requires Pharmacy Benefit Managers to license with the state and ensures transparency.
Contact your legislators now and tell them why protecting access to healthcare is important for all New Yorkers.
Increase the impact of your message by personalizing your message and ask other New Yorkers to join you by sharing this link on social media:
