Sometimes it’s really hard to record yourself at the gym.
Fun tip: Work the Negative.
When you are working your muscles Concentrically (positive), the muscle shortens as it flexes. When you work Eccentrically (negative), the muscle lengthens and can actually take on much higher loads. To work the negative, lower those weights slower than you bring them up.

It’s funny how having so many different injuries affects your workout in so many different ways. Since having both shoulders done, it’s easier for me to do squats on this machine, vs a bar on my shoulder. I can FINALLY squat more than my body weight again. With a jacked up back and the shoulder surgeries, it’s taken a while.
And finally adding weight back to dead lifts makes me giddy.
Add some resistance bands to incorporate different muscle groups to some of your moves!!
Oh yeah. More full body moves.
I’m finally able to do full body exercises again. It’s been months! This is my favorite way to lift- multiple muscles worked in one move.
Sorry if it’s loud- I have a new phone and apparently it records sound REALLY WELL. 😂
My PT knows me well and gives me exercises to add to my routine that will get me back to where I want to be.
Never mind the shaky arm 😂😂
