Take your technique to the next level with this weeks pop-up Leaps & Turns class! This focused session will help you refine your skills, build strength, and add clarification to your movement—all in a fun, high-energy studio setting.

Leap’s and Turns drop in class tonight at 6:45 for Pre Int-Adv dancers share 10 YRS and up! Cost is $7.00! Hope to see you on the dance floor!

Devastated is an understatement. Please share from my personal page if at all possible! Help me and my siblings get our mama back home safe where she belongs, with us! We need her and she needs us!

On August 26, 2014, I launched our page, followed by a thrown together schedule that was released just two days later. We flung open our doors on September 2nd. There I was, barely 20 years old, holding a business plan that I couldn't begin to understand even a little. Ten years later and I'm still winging it, but I love my job and wouldn't change it for anything! We went from 18 n. main, a tiny narrow 900 square foot studio, directly across the street to a 3,800 square foot studio that RDA proudly calls home. The memories created and the community built are treasures I'll hold dear forever, and I hope that I've left a lasting, positive mark on those I've had the privilege to teach over the past decade.

Upon my return home and after getting some rest, I can now share our 4th of July experience at Stadium Of Fire. Celebrating our beautiful country and the freedom we are blessed with is always extremely special.

For the past nine years, my right hand woman Ally has been by my side on that field, but this year I felt her absence and both the dancers and I missed her dearly. I must express my gratitude to Alicia for stepping in and keeping us focused. I am grateful to have had her by my side. The challenge she faced was considerable, but she rose to the occasion without hesitation.

This year was one of my favorites, with brilliant choreography, amazing people, top-notch dancers, and everything coming together perfectly. The firework show was incredible and the Jonas brothers were so fun. I loved watching my dancers dance and sing along to songs they know! I am already missing it.

I am extremely proud of my dancers, who worked tirelessly with positive attitudes and handled every challenge with professionalism. Watching dancers grow and move on is difficult, but I will always treasure the memories.

Teaching children the thing I love most is the best job I could’ve ever asked for but it is not for the weak! Some days are emotionally draining, some are overwhelming, and some are heart wrenching. Those days are hard but when I see my dancers up on that stage, after all the blood, sweat, and tears throughout the season, in the end it is always worth it!
