Back to the Basic’s Hitting Clinic

Friday, November 26th, 2021

Ages: 8-10, 11-1 PM
11-13, 1-3 PM

Cost: $60

Limited to 8 athletes per session.

This clinic is designed to introduce and teach kids the basic fundamentals of the baseball swing. If your child loves baseball and wants to learn more about hitting and what it takes to become a better hitter this is a can’t miss opportunity.

Just trying to program hitting line drives over the SS and 2B’s head. learning how hard it is to be consistent in this game!

Learning how to hit isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. There’s a lot of failure involved in the process. In these videos each athlete is using a half bat. These bats are super lightweight and give instant feedback if you make bad contact or good contact. We use them everyday. Most kids struggle with them early on. But once they get used to them the feedback gives them everything they need to be able to make the adjustment from swing to swing. Like Nick Saban says “Hard practice, easy game. Easy practice, hard game.”

Congrats to .howard34 on his commitment to Barton!

Finding hitters that are 6’8” are rare. Finding them with really good bat to balls skills is even more rare. Brock has a chance to become a really good college baseball. I look forward to working with him each week. He’s made some really good adjustments thus far. Barton is getting a good one!
