Washburn Rural Girls Swim and Dive 2023 Drive - Vertical Raise Fundraising is vital for the success of our program. The funds will aid us in purchasing new uniforms, equipment and other pertinent expenses. Overall team placings:
We placed 12th out of 25 teams! The boys did amazing this weekend!

The 400 Freestyle Relay consisting of Will Powell, Luke Lemke, Brogan Meier, and Jack Miranda placed SEVETH overall at State!!

Jack Miranda placed THIRD at State in the 500 Freestyle!!

Brogan Meier placed EIGHTH at State in the 100 Freestyle!!

Jack Miranda just placed THIRD at State in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:45.71!!

These boys are getting ready for finals this morning!

State Team Dinner at Coach Jordan’s house! The boys are filled with pasta and ready to go for tomorrow!

WRHS Swim families, we are excited to come together and celebrate all of our swimmers successes on Tuesday, February 21st at 6pm in the WRHS cafeteria. This will be a potluck dinner to start the banquet. The senior and junior parents are providing pulled pork, buns and BBQ sauce to cover the main dish. The coaches are providing paper goods and drinks. We are asking for each sophomore and freshman families to bring a side AND a dessert to help with the meal.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 21st.

The boys finished 2nd at League last Thursday. They are already planning on working hard to get that trophy back in our case next year!
