Jaxson Christie Racing

Points race #4 was this past Sunday. Man it was a tough one for the entire team. It was the anniversary after Yaya (Jaxson's greatest fan, his Grandma's passing). Our plan was to make the best of it and celebrate her in the only we know how ...  at the Topeka Quarter Midget Association track.
We've been practicing and changing things and getting suggestions. We just weren't where we wanted to be. Have a few more things we're going to try.
 We are so incredibly grateful for the Forsberg team for answering our questions, sharing information and helping us this year.

In the Hvy Honda he was second to Dash all day. Our goal this year is to give them something to talk about. 😉

In the Hvy 160
Started in P2 finished in P4. We could tell something was wrong when we pulled him off the track. He said that he's pushing on the gas and it's just not doing anything. We looked and we found that his throttle cable was messed up so we fixed it .
In the feature he was afraid to push it to hard, but then finally did and was getting better times. We had a yellow and even though the lineup was incorrect, he got tapped from the back and it was enough that it broke something and we just didn't have enough laps to get him back out there.
We are on race number 4 and having put on new tires yet. These are tires from last year. So that's something we might change also.

Our next race is June 6th. So we will do like we do and regroup, practice, try new things and do it again.

Last Sunday was Jaxson's 3rd points race at the Topeka Quarter Midget Association track. It was also a race to remember one of Topeka's greatest men! Donny Reed

Jaxson was asked to be one of the 2 drivers to carry the American Flag, which kicked off an amazing day of racing. The weather was beautiful, and the races were awesome. We had Face painting, trophies, laughter, tears and memories being shared that day

Jaxson was able to race both cars this weekend.

A recap on Jaxson's race from 4/19. Unfortunately we weren't given the opportunity to race his 120. So we only ran one car. Haven't done that in almost 8 years. It was weird and made for a long day.
In his Heavy 160 heat race he started in 3rd and finished in 3rd. So we changed a few things for the feature. Started 3rd and finished in 2nd with some of his better times.
He had some special guests with us all day which helped keep our spirits up with all that was going on around us.

2nd points race of the season is this Sunday! Come join us.
