What an incredible day at the Top City Half Marathon!

We would like to sincerely thank every single person who was apart of race day yesterday. To all of the participants who sold out the event and carried their energy along the course; thank you. To all of the Topeka police officers who spent the morning ensuring the safety of all the runners and volunteers; thank you. To all of the volunteers who donated their time to help monitor traffic, hand out water at aid stations, wrap a medal around a finishers neck; thank you.

These events would not be possible without the participation of runners, walkers, volunteers, the police department, and the City of Topeka! Stay tuned the next few days for links to the race photos, and for registration to sign up for next year!

One more sleep until race day! We are so excited to celebrate Topeka with you. Half Marathon starts at 7:30AM and 5K starts at 8AM at Evergy Plaza(630 S Kansas Ave)! The downtown parking garages will be the best options for parking. See you in the morning Top City!

Its official: The TopCity Half Marathon is back for 2026!
After the announcement of its cancellation in December, it became clear just how much this event means to the Topeka community. We’re excited to share that Fleet Feet Topeka will serve as the presenting sponsor and is proud to be involved in bringing back this incredible race.
Save the date: May 2nd, 2026. Tag your training partner and start logging those miles. The legacy continues.
