There was Mudcat Magic in the air tonight. The 9U KC Mudcats came back from being down 4 runs by knotting the game up in bottom of last inning. Then fell behind again by 2 runs in extra innings. Didn't stop them as they won in classic walk off style. This picture is not a player's tears of sorrow, but joy as Silas had so much emotion after hitting Brody in to win the game. Moments like this are rare, to witness a players emotion overcome him after a team win and the team embrace him will be a memory we will never forget .... Tomorrow night will be the championship game and stay tuned for a special surprise that awaits this team before the game.

It was a long weekend in the heat in Topeka. The boys went 4-1 losing only in the championship game. Great way to end the summer season taking home the silver medal in the Sunflower State Games. Also there was a quick reminder ... DO NOT PARK IN THE SPLASH ZONE

Last night this group of 14U boys played their hearts out ending the season as Olathe City Champions winning the OYB end of the season playoffs. They also were crowned league champions finishing the regular season with a 14-2 record. It was an honor to coach these young men this year. Congrats boys!!!

The Kansas City Mudcats are playing in Manhattan....First game is a win but not without casualties. Josh punished the dirt with his slides giving new meaning to MUDcats...then Levi Sutton makes one of the toughest plays, passed ball he grabs it and makes a head first dive at runner coming home, incredible guts shown, we were winning 6 to 5 he got the runner out but took a cleat to the forehead. Glad we had a break in between games so he could get stitches, he made it back for game 2 just in time and started at 3rd base.

It was a LONG Sunday but could not be prouder of these boys who never gave up when faced with some tough situations. Congrats boys on your 2nd place finish in the

Congrats to the 14U AAA Kansas City Mudcats they got the #2 seed after pool play and had to battle in bracket play coming back in bottom 7th to win and also come back in the semi final game ... out of 26 teams they are in the CHAMPIONSHIP. Game to start around 8 hopefully!!!

14U Kansas City Mudcats played an incredible competitive semi final game. Losing 5-4 in bottom of 7th Tyler hits double and ties the game up. Then bottom of 9th, 6-6 tie, Zack hits walk off scoring Dylan from 2nd. We made it really hard on ourselves leaving 18 runners on base!!!
