Heartland BMX

WORKDAY - Saturday, June 6 - 10AM start

We are working the turns and shaving the “lumps” and working the rain ruts. Once turn 1 is done, we will start to work the straights. Bring a rake if you’ve got one!

We are going to have another workday tomorrow 6/2. Come on out starting at 4 and help us rake the turns, mow, paint a little more, and get the place spruced up!

The track is drying nicely but soft in a few places still.

Track conditions are not ideal after the monsoon we got Saturday and then last night. Hoping it will dry more and we can put some rakes on it to get the new ruts out.. 😭

Practice 6/1 is canceled. We will be out tonight during practice time to see what else we can do and to paint the buildings and clean up the grounds.

Racing for 5/30 is canceled. The overnight rain and more on the way (per weather people) we will not have enough time to get the track dried and prepared adequately.

We are hopeful to host our first race next week 🤞🏼 please stay tuned!

Many hands make light work!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help us get the track dialed back in. We would not have been able to get it in shape had we not had everyone out there helping us. There are still a few things that need to be worked in, but opening day is quicker than we thought!! Stay tuned…. 😬

Track work starting at 4:00! If you’re available, we can use all the help we can get!

Our focus is grooming the track so we can get some bikes out there!!!

We are going to be doing some track work tomorrow(5/26) starting around 4PM. Some of us will be out there earlier so if you get off work and are bored.. come on out and play in the dirt with us!

We are focusing on hand raking, rolling, watering, and rolling again… trying to get ruts and hand groom the lumps/bumps from the rain ruts.
-bring a rake if you have one
-bring a friend so we can get it all done…

The track also needs mowed/w**ded
-if you have a w**d eater you can bring and use

We are hoping to hold something this week as far as practice BUT we need help getting it back in shape.
