Saturday night at 6pm is awards night! Please be at the park early so we can get our teams together on the field. The event takes place on diamond D this year. Please wear your jersey and regular shorts or pants and your caps. (12u players that also played 14U just wear 12U jerseys). Understand parking could be an issue so get here early or plan to walk a distance. We will take a combined team picture as well at some point during the evening.

Wahoomaniacs, I was notified yesterday afternoon that a team had pulled out of the state tournament. Anyone who has ever seeded a tournament knows what that does to the rest of the tournament, taking out a slot simply isn't easy. The tournament director promised a new pool schedule first thing this morning and he delivered.

The good news - our pool game didn't change. The bad news - our pool partners do change, but only the guys below us in the rankings, so no sweat.

I included a screenshot of the new schedule and I will attempt to explain it. Our first game is still Friday at 3pm. We will be leaving Topeka from Dornwood Park at 9am sharp if you want to just caravan down with us (it's totally ok if you go on your own). Please arrive at the ballpark by 2pm. I highlighted our team in yellow (Team 11). We are Game #16 on the schedule. If we lose the first game, we would play again Friday evening with a 9pm first pitch (highlighted in red). If we win the afternoon game, we wouldn't play again until Saturday morning at 9am (highlighted in green).

These first 2 games determine 2 things: First, whether we are in the bracket for the state title or the bracket for the consolation prize. Second, where we sit in the respective bracket. Winning both games will seed us HIGHER and potentially make the first round of the championship run easier. We are ready to bring it, so let's go get us a title to bring back to TBSA!

We've been challenged by the 14U Rage to an exhibition game. We would play Wednesday evening. Dean Carson has offered it up to us and so we need to make sure players can come. Shoot me or Dawn a message about your availability.
