We were honored to be invited to the debut event of the World Fencing League by Miles Chamley-Watson, where we had the opportunity to witness an exciting moment in the continued growth of our sport. Thank you!!!!

Seeing fencing showcased on such a grand stage, with so many of the world’s best athletes competing, was truly inspiring for our students. Having the chance to meet athletes they’ve looked up to for years made the experience even more meaningful 💫 Our young fencers came back to training with renewed vigor and enthusiasm for our beloved sport.

Moments like these remind us how powerful this sport can be — not only in competition, but in the way it brings people together and inspires the next generation of fencers. 📣📣 We’re incredibly happy to celebrate Jeein Joo , who earned Gold in Cadet Men’s Sabre at the Junior Olympic Championships hosted by in Kansas City. 👑

This achievement is the result of consistency and determination— the kind of hard work that happens every day on the strip and behind the scenes. We’re grateful for Jeein’s dedication, and for the guidance of coaches Matteo Gallo and Gaspare Faugiana 🙏🤺, as well as the unwavering support of Jeein’s family ❤️

This is our second gold medal at the Junior Olympics, following Alex Jeffords’ Junior Men’s Sabre gold in 2024🏆 — and we feel so thankful for the community we continue to grow together.

📣We’re incredibly happy to launch our Summer Experience in Italy for July 2026!🎉🎊🛫
📆 July 18-28, 2026 ☀️
📍Olympic Training Center of Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy 🇮🇹
➡️ We are so excited to have partnered with Circolo Scherma Fides Livorno and its amazing Coaches and Fencers to create a truly unique training experience!
The camp will feature Elite coaches who led their students to the highest level, including Olympic Games, World Champions, and more; incredible sparring partners including Olympians, World Championship medalists, Cadet and Junior Team members, National and International medalists and so much more!
We’re planning for 10 days of training, fencing and whole lot of fun, with sightseeing, exploring and many other activities built into the camp program.
To ensure the highest possible quality of the training experience, only a limited number of spots will be available so make sure you reserve your spot as soon as possible!

🎇🎆Winter Break Training❄️🎅🎄
January and February 2026 are set to be a whirlwind of competitions and events, so we decided to offer our fencers some great training opportunities to hone their skills💪🏻🏋️🏃🤺🔥
📌 High Performance Clinic: December 22-24, 10am-1:30pm
📍Winter Camp: December 26-31st, 10am-4pm (except NYE, 10am-1pm). We’re proud to announce that this camp will feature our good friend Coach of Stanford University, who will be with us on December 27 & 28.
Our Head Coach and Associate Head Coach will lead the training sessions, join us along with our fantastic competitive team and our Alumini who are back home for the Holidays!

🚨REMINDER: SBFA will be closed on Christmas Eve (afternoon), Christmas Day (all day), New Years Eve (afternoon) and New Years Day (all day). Happy Holiday! 🎄🎇🎆🎁💝🎉🎊🥳

➡️ We travelled all over the 🌎, with our fencers representing Team USA🇺🇸, 🇯🇵, 🇹🇼; congratulations to for keep brining home international medals and to Phillip Yang, Emma Han and Elaine Chen for their international debut at the Cadet event in Eislingen,🇩🇪
➡️ We hosted an amazing Thanksgiving Camp, with more than 50 fencers, led by Coach 🦁 and 🍀, which was a terrific occasion to learn, grow and progress, for fencers and coaches alike - thank you to all fencers who joined us and trained with us, it’s so good to have other fencers visiting us and share our experience with them.
➡️ Our Youth Team keep fighting and battling hard, with some great performances and a lot of fencers starting to compete and taking their first steps onto the regional and national stage. 🏆🥇🤺

More importantly, we love to see our community growing stronger, more dedicated and more confident as ever. In a world where bragging, flaunting and self aggrandizement is the norm, we are proud to be different. We consciously and purposefully decided to focus on the process, nurturing our relationship with our students, helping them become the better version of themselves, on and off the strip, and let the results and our students speak for themselves.
