Hi 👋🏼 It’s been awhile 😅 I haven’t really felt like showing up here and honestly haven’t really known how🤷🏻‍♀️

To be completely transparent, I felt more “worthy” and like I had more of a “right” to share fitness related content when I was full blown shredded and in the depths of prep. And once I got to a healthy body weight and was fueling properly? I felt like nobody would even care 🙄 (major eye roll x 1000. Who cares if nobody cares?!🤦🏻‍♀️)

I have always firmly believed that fitness comes in all varieties, shapes, & sizes so why have I been going so far against what I truly believe at my core? The mind does crazy things to your perception of things after you reach stage conditioning and let me tell ya, I’m happy to finally feel like myself again (only took 3 months🥴🥲)

On that note……THREE MONTHS🤯 It’s taken me roughly three months to actually begin to feel at peace with myself again. That felt like a very long time 🙃

I was so focused on what I had “lost” since ending prep ➡️ lines, super strong “discipline” to stick to my diet, motivation from results to keep going everyday, that I had briefly lost sight of what I’ve gained➡️ energy, quality sleep, freedom to go out, the ability to think clearly, time to focus on friends & family, enjoying work more, and too many other things to even name.

Life on this side feels really good. I still haven’t quite navigated how to get back to sharing content on here but I know with time things will slowly fall back into place and I’ll get back into the groove of sharing all things fitness💪🏼

Also, a little reminder to take a break when you need it from anything that’s weighing you down. I felt pressured to post here and once I finally stopped pressuring myself about it, the desire to share came back🤍

Hair up, head down💪🏼

Do you go to the gym to workout or to train?

Do you know the difference?

I used to workout. Go through the motions. Fly through everything & just try to get in and out.

When I switched my mindset to really honing into my training that was when everything clicked. I slowed things down, really dialed into that mind to muscle connection & truly began to understand that quality matters over quantity.

Every rep matters when you train versus just workout. Each one is a chance to push and to add into the cumulative effort to always be better.

Start viewing your time at the gym as a chance to really dial in, focus, and improve. Your outcome is always reflected in your effort. Never less than whatever your one hundred percent effort is that day💪🏼

Find value in the power of consistency over perfection‼️

Does this scenario sound familiar?🤔⬇️

You go “off plan” with your nutrition & you miss a workout or only make it to the gym one time in a week.

You instantly get down on yourself and deem that entire week as a failure so you just say “screw it” and continue to let your routine slip. Before you know it, you’re back to square one and trying to build up healthy habits again.

But what if you’ve already developed concrete habits and you’re typically consistent? In that scenario, you stop 🛑 and remind yourself of the other 3 weeks out of that month that you were on target & realize it’s just part of life👌🏼

There is value in that consistency….even with it’s imperfection👏🏼

Because guess what? Life isn’t perfect.

Work gets crazy, your schedule gets hectic, you’re being pulled in a million different directions & sometimes the things that end up taking a hit are your nutrition and training. That is OK 👏🏼

So instead of beating yourself up for not being perfect, remind yourself that it doesn’t matter what you do occasionally, it matters what you do consistently.

If you’ve developed strong enough habits, you will find that even with missing that week, you’re able to simply move forward & get right back into the swing of things afterwards💪🏼

THAT right there is consistency. THAT is what you should aim for to make living a healthy lifestyle sustainable.

June 12th➡️July 24th

Pushed for 6 weeks and came in 6 lbs leaner with an improved package that landed me 🥇 in Novice and 🥈 in Open👙

The goal now is to work on making improvements & to fuel my body properly in order to do so💪🏼 The main area I need to improve upon is adding more muscle to my glutes 🍑

For now, I’m slowly working on gaining weight & finding a little more balance in my day to day life as well as prioritizing things outside of the gym more 😌

Competing will always be there and I don’t intend to rush back into a prep until I’m one hundred percent ready to do so. That could be a year, could be two. Time will tell but you get the drill😉

Also, you’re going to want to swipe all the way through to see the change from my first ever show back in December of 2019 to my most recent one🤯

Proud of how far I’ve come and excited to continue to work & see how far I can go💪🏼😌

💄STAGE GLAM💄

One of my favorite parts about show day is getting my makeup done and seeing my stage look come together 👙✨

As someone who hardly wears any makeup, it’s always a fun little change to get glammed up🥰

If you compete, what’s your favorite part about show day besides getting to showcase all your hard work?! ☺️💪🏼✨

The culmination of 20 weeks of intense focus, 3:30 am wake ups, hours of cardio, meticulously counting every gram of food while also balancing everything else in between.

This s**t is hard. It isn’t for the weak. Most people won’t understand it. Very few get that it isn’t even just those weeks of dieting and prep that matter but the days in your improvement season too. This isn’t the result of “just” a 20 week diet. You are giving it everything you’ve got even during those improvement season days with the knowledge that every single day counts and will lend to you coming back better the next time around.

That’s the best thing about it all for me. The constant push to be better. The fact that these pictures right here are now my new standard to beat the next time I choose to step on stage again.

Better than I was last time. That’s the goal. Let’s see what we can build in this season of growth 💪🏼😤

Start of prep➡️One day out🤯

20 weeks between these photos and 25 lbs.

I can truly say I have never pushed myself harder than I did during this prep…especially those last 6 weeks between shows. In that final push I came in 6 lbs tighter & I’m honestly not even sure how I managed to function through that but somehow I made it😅😌

I’m taking this first week post show to really show my body some love and rest. Calories are up, cardio is down, and I am taking pretty much this whole week off of lifting to help with recovery.

I’m incredibly proud of what I accomplished this season and I am looking forward to seeing what improvements I can make with a structured improvement season and some time away from dieting 💪🏼

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right”.

Remember: You are only limited in accomplishing your goals if you choose to be 👊🏼🤍

One day out in both.

Six weeks of pushing and digging to bring something better.

All I can say is I’m proud 🥲

Finally time to showcase all of my hard work and bring my absolute best💪🏼

See you on show day!🙌🏼🤍👙

Pressure is a privilege ⛏💎

10 days left to push and to showcase all of my hard work over this last year💪🏼

You either win or you learn.

Nothing is a loss if you continue to work, learn, and improve from it.

Your life will be greatly enriched if you begin to tackle everything from that mindset versus wallowing in your “losses”.

A loss is only a loss if you quit.

Not enough words for what this guy means to me.

“Proud of you”
“You sleep okay?”
“You eat babe?”
“You are almost there. Finish line is so close”

All throughout prep he checked on, encouraged, and supported me. He leveled me when I was in my head overthinking every single thing and kept me grounded. He talked me through the lows that come with being disappointed in outcomes out of your control post show & reminded me that it’s just fuel in the fire to keep going.

You are my best friend & I’m thankful every single day that I have the privilege of being with you.

You truly are only as good as the company you keep & this one is definitely a keeper ❤️
