❤️🖤 MEET THE REBELS | KYLIE CROCKER

OUR BIGGEST REVEAL YET. 👀❤️🖤

After introducing the girls who have been part of this journey, we finally get to introduce the newest member of our Richmond Rebels 16U family — Kylie Crocker!

And I couldn’t be more excited to have her.

🥎 THE NEWEST REBEL

I’ve had the honor of being Kylie’s pitching coach at Titusville High School, so I’ve had a front-row seat to watch her grow, work, struggle, learn, and continue pushing herself to become better.

And this girl is a WORKHORSE.

I’m talking about the kind of athlete who will go run 8 miles at cross country practice and then show up to pitching practice ready to throw.

She stays after for extra reps.

She asks questions.

She wants to understand.

She wants to improve.

And she is willing to put in the work required to get there.

🔥 THE ARM

Kylie is bringing another workhorse arm to our pitching staff, and we are incredibly excited about what she will bring to this team.

She isn’t afraid of work, and she isn’t afraid of being challenged. She continues to push herself, and we know that mentality is going to make a huge impact on our team.

But what I’m most excited about is that we know she hasn’t reached her ceiling yet.

She’s still growing.

Still learning.

Still getting better.

❤️ THE NEXT CHAPTER

Kylie is also beginning the college recruiting process, which is such an exciting chapter for her.

As her coaches and teammates, we are excited to support her through it, learn alongside her, celebrate the wins, navigate the challenges, and help her find the place that’s the right fit for Kylie — both as a student and as an athlete.

This is a big step for her, and we’re honored that she chose to take it with us.

💬 COACH’S TAKE

I’ve known Kylie as an athlete and pitching student, but I’m especially excited to get to know her as a Rebel.

I already know how hard she works. I already know how much she wants it. And I already know she isn’t afraid to put in the extra work when nobody is asking her to.

Now I get to watch her take all of that and become part of something bigger.

Khya. ❤️

I honestly don’t know if there are enough words to explain how proud I am of this girl.

I met Khya four years ago at a tryout, and over these last four years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching her grow into an incredible softball player and an even more incredible young woman.

She has found her confidence, found her voice, and become someone who isn’t afraid to step up when her team needs her.

And now?

She’s one of our BIGGEST hype girls and one of our biggest clutch performers. 🔥

🥎 ON THE FIELD

Khya is the kind of player who gives you everything she has.

She is FAST on the bases and knows how to put pressure on a defense. She hits the ball hard, but she’s also smart enough to drop a bunt when the situation calls for it.

And when there is a play to be made, Khya is not afraid to put her entire body on the line to make it.

She’ll dive. She’ll hustle. She’ll fight for the extra base.

Whatever her team needs, she’s willing to do it.

And when the moment gets big?

That’s when Khya seems to shine the brightest.

❤️ THE TEAMMATE

But ask me what I love most about Khya, and it probably wouldn’t be anything on the stat sheet.

It’s the way she shows up for her team.

She is one of our biggest cheerleaders. She brings energy to the dugout. She celebrates her teammates like their success is her own.

And when her team needs her?

She’s there.

🌱 THE GROWTH

The softball player Khya has become is incredible, but watching her grow as a young lady has meant even more to me.

I’ve watched her become confident in who she is.

I’ve watched her learn to speak up.

I’ve watched her trust herself.

I’ve watched her become comfortable taking up space and letting that personality we all love shine through.

And honestly, that growth is what makes me the proudest.

Khya is one of those kids who reminds me exactly why I love coaching.

I don’t just get to watch these girls become better softball players. I get to watch them grow up.

And getting to watch Khya find her confidence, discover her voice, and become the young woman she is today has been incredibly special.

Khya, I hope you know how proud I am of you.

Proud of the player you are.
Proud of the teammate you are.
But most of all, proud of the young woman you are becoming.

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is someone who has become such a powerful presence in our team — Aspen Trask.

🔥 THE LEADER

Aspen is a LEADER.

On the field. Off the field. In the dugout. In the cages. Wherever she is, she has a way of making the people around her better.

She doesn’t wait for someone to tell her to work.

She works on her own.

She is constantly striving to do better, be better, and find the next thing she can improve. She asks questions because she genuinely wants to understand, and when you give her something new to try, she doesn’t hesitate.

She just goes for it.

And if her teammates need a little reminder that it’s time to get to work?

Aspen isn’t afraid to speak up.

That’s leadership.

⚾ IN THE CIRCLE

Aspen is so much fun to watch pitch.

She does it with class, confidence, and just a little bit of sass. 😏

But one of the things I admire most about her is her body language. You can watch Aspen pitch and you would be hard-pressed to know whether we’re winning by 10 or down by 10 based solely on her attitude.

She stays composed.

She stays confident.

She competes.

And she keeps moving forward.

That kind of presence in the circle is powerful.

For all of Aspen’s competitive fire and leadership, she is also one of our biggest cheerleaders.

She wants her teammates to succeed. She celebrates them. She encourages them. She pushes them.

She understands that being a leader doesn’t mean being the loudest person — it means being someone others can count on.

Aspen is one of those players who makes coaching really fun.

She doesn’t just want to be told what to do — she wants to understand why. Then she takes what she’s learned and immediately puts it into action.

Watching her grow as a leader has been incredible because she leads with both confidence and genuine care for the people around her.

She has the ability to change the energy of a team, and I love watching her use that ability for good.

❤️🖤 MEET THE REBELS | MADDIE ZERBEE #14

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is a player whose journey I’ve had the privilege of being part of for a long time — Maddie Zerbee.

I started working with Maddie on her pitching when she was just 10 years old, so I’ve had a front-row seat to watch her grow into the pitcher and athlete she is today.

And what a journey it has been.

🔥 THE POWERHOUSE

Maddie is a natural.

She has an incredible amount of natural ability when it comes to pitching, but what makes her really special is what she does with that ability.

Her work ethic.

Wow.

Maddie is willing to put in the work, listen, learn, and keep pushing herself to get better. She doesn’t just want to throw harder or get more outs — she wants to understand the game.

Maddie is constantly asking questions. When she’s not pitching, you’ll often find her sitting right next to me asking about pitch calls, situations, and different scenarios that could happen in a game.

She wants to know the why behind the game.

And that softball IQ is something that continues to grow right alongside her pitching ability.

💥 AND SHE CAN HIT

Don’t let the pitching fool you — Maddie can absolutely smoke a softball.

She brings some serious power to the plate and has the ability to change a game with her bat just as quickly as she can from the circle.

📣 THE LOUD ONE

And if you’ve ever been in our dugout, you already know this one…

Maddie does NOT cheer quietly. 😂

She cheers EXTREMELY loud for her teammates, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

When one of our girls makes a great play, Maddie is going to make sure the entire field knows about it.

Getting to work with Maddie since she was 10 has allowed me to watch her journey from the very beginning.

I’ve seen the growth, the work, the frustrating days, the breakthroughs, and all the moments in between.

What makes me most excited about Maddie isn’t just her natural ability — it’s her curiosity.

She wants to know more. She asks questions. She watches. She thinks about the game even when she’s not the one holding the ball.

That tells me she’s not finished growing yet.

And I can’t wait to see just how far she takes it.

Maddie, keep asking questions, keep working, keep hitting bombs, and please never stop being the loudest teammate in the dugout. 😂❤️🖤

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is someone who has truly grown into a well-rounded athlete and an incredibly dependable teammate — Addie Smock!

This is year four of coaching Addie, and getting to watch her development over the years has been pretty special.

🥎 THE SOFTBALL PLAYER

Addie has made huge strides as a softball player. Over the years, she has become someone I can naturally rely on when I need to move pieces around on the field.

Put her somewhere different?

I know she’ll be fine.

That versatility and willingness to do whatever the team needs has made her incredibly valuable to us.

But one of Addie’s biggest strengths is her work in the outfield. She has an incredible ability to read the ball off the bat, anticipate where it’s going, and get herself into position to make the play.

❤️ THE TEAMMATE

Addie is also constantly cheering for the girls around her. She celebrates their successes, encourages them through the tough moments, and brings that team-first attitude with her every time she steps on the field.

🏀🏐🐴 MORE THAN SOFTBALL

Addie is the definition of well-rounded.

Outside of softball, she plays basketball and volleyball, and she also spends time showing horses.

Between all of those activities, Addie has learned how to compete, work hard, adapt, and commit herself to something she cares about.

💬 COACH’S TAKE

Four years gives you a front-row seat to a player’s growth, and Addie has given us quite a journey to watch.

I’ve watched her go from a young athlete figuring things out to someone I can confidently put in different situations because I know she’ll handle whatever is asked of her.

Her versatility, athleticism, and ability to read the game have made her a player I can count on — but seeing the person she’s becoming has been even better.

Addie, keep trusting yourself, keep working, and keep being the teammate who makes everyone around you better.

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is someone who has been part of this journey for a long time — Taylor Jordan!

This is year four with Taylor, and man, has she grown. Watching her develop not only into a really good athlete, but into a genuinely great person, has been one of the best parts of getting to coach her.

🥎 THE UTILITY PLAYER

Taylor is the definition of versatile.

She is a true utility player who I can put just about anywhere on the field and know she’s going to figure it out. She doesn’t need to have one specific position to feel comfortable — she just wants to help her team.

And when Taylor gets ahold of one?

She hits the ball HARD. 💥

She brings a physical presence to the plate and isn’t afraid to attack the ball.

🏐🏀 THE ATHLETE

If you ever wonder when Taylor takes a break… we’re wondering too. 😂

In addition to softball, Taylor also plays volleyball and basketball. This kid rarely stops moving, and her commitment to multiple sports has helped her become the well-rounded athlete she is today.

❤️ THE TEAMMATE

One of the things that hasn’t changed throughout these four years is Taylor’s ability to support the people around her.

She is constantly cheering for her teammates, celebrating their successes, and bringing energy to the dugout.

She understands that being a great player isn’t just about what you do individually — it’s about what you bring to the people around you.

💬 COACH’S TAKE

Four years later, I think the coolest thing is seeing the person Taylor has become.

She’s grown into a confident, capable athlete who is willing to take on whatever challenge is put in front of her. I can trust her to step into a new role, compete, and figure it out.

And getting to watch that growth while seeing her become such a great teammate has made these four years pretty special.

Taylor, keep working, keep competing, and please… maybe take a day off once in a while. 😂

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is someone who brings a little bit of everything to our team — Ally Nagg.

❤️ THE HEART OF A TEAMMATE

Ally is one of those people who is just a kind, warm soul.

She is the teammate you can confide in. The one who will listen, support you, and make you feel like you aren’t facing something alone. She genuinely cares about the people around her, and that kind of teammate is invaluable.

🥎 THE GROWTH

This year, we have watched Ally’s confidence grow in ways that have been so exciting to see.

She has battled through the difficult moments, pushed herself outside of her comfort zone, and continued working to become a better softball player.

Because the truth is simple:

Ally wants it.

She wants to improve. She wants to compete. She wants to contribute. And she is willing to put in the work to get there.

💪 COACHABLE & FEARLESS

Whatever her coaches ask her to do, Ally takes it and works at it.

She doesn’t shy away from something just because it’s difficult or unfamiliar. She listens, she works, and she keeps trying.

And then there are the diving catches. 👀

Ally has officially earned herself the title of QUEEN OF THE DIVING CATCH. 👑🥎

If there’s a ball that looks just a little too far away, there’s a pretty good chance Ally is going to throw herself at it anyway.

Watching Ally gain confidence this year has been one of those things that reminds you why coaching is so special.

The player who walked into the season isn’t the same player we see today. She’s more confident, more willing to take chances, and more determined to prove to herself what she’s capable of.

And I think that’s only the beginning.

Ally, keep believing in yourself as much as we believe in you. Keep working, keep battling, and keep making those ridiculous diving catches. ❤️🖤

❤️🖤 MEET THE REBELS | CHARLOTTE “CHUCK” TWENTIER #20

Wow. This kid.

That might honestly be the best way to start this one. 😂

Next up in our 2026–2027 Richmond Rebels 16U Player Spotlight Series is Charlotte Twentier — better known around here as CHUCK.

When Chuck tried out for our team, I knew almost immediately that she was going to be an incredible addition.

And somehow, she has been exactly that — and even more.

🔥 THE FIGHTER

Chuck is a fighter.

She is scrappy. She competes for everything. She doesn’t back down, and she doesn’t need things to be easy in order to give her best.

She is the kind of player who makes you want to work harder simply because you’re watching her work.

And perhaps one of the coolest things about Chuck is that people naturally gravitate toward her. She is the type of teammate other girls want to be around and, honestly, the type of player they want to be like.

❤️ TEAM FIRST. ALWAYS.

Chuck does whatever her team needs — without hesitation.

Put her somewhere new? She’s going.

Ask her to do something different? She’s ready.

Need someone to step up? Chuck is there.

And somehow, she manages to do all of it with a smile on her face.

That’s Chuck.

She doesn’t need recognition for doing the dirty work. She just wants to help her team.

🧠 ALWAYS GETTING BETTER

Chuck doesn’t wait for someone else to make her better.

She actively seeks it out.

She attends camps and clinics on her own, constantly looking for opportunities to learn, improve, and add something new to her game.

That tells you everything you need to know about her mindset.

She wants to be better because she wants to be better — not because someone is forcing her to.

And then she brings that same mentality back to our team.

🏐 MORE THAN SOFTBALL

Chuck is also a volleyball player, bringing that same toughness, competitiveness, and team-first mentality to another sport.

Being a multi-sport athlete has only added to the athlete and teammate she is becoming.

💬 COACH’S TAKE

The best part of coaching Chuck has been getting to watch her become even more of the player I knew she could be when she first walked through our tryout.

She has a way of bringing energy into the dugout, making people laugh, and reminding everyone that you can compete your heart out and still have fun doing it.

I’m excited to see where that combination of confidence, personality, and determination takes her. She’s got a lot ahead of her — and I’m pretty lucky I get to watch it happen. ❤️🖤

Chuck, never lose that fight. Never lose that smile. And never stop chasing the next level.
