We had our first RR yesterday and went 1-2. We knew going into it we would see some strong competition and we were right. We played a great first game and pulled off the W 4-2, then came across our first 12A level team in game 2 and lost steam in game 3.

We had some great moments, saw some great pitching and look forward to next weekends RR to get back into action! Check out some of our hitting highlights from the day! 🥎💥🖤

We have our fall round robin and tournament schedule locked in! Play kicks off next Saturday (8/29) in Sycamore, IL for the AHQ Fall RR.

Great night at the AUSL All Star game! Team Ricketts v. Team Brown! Megan Grant smacked a HR, Karlyn Pickens closed it out for the W and the 2026 Golden Glove winner Sydney Romero was honored! Fun night for Thunder 12U Black!

We are ✨so✨ back! First practice of the 12U season for 12U Black! Battled cicada wasps but had a full workout including some agility! Can’t wait for the rest of this season!! 🥎💣🖤

Our current 11U Black team is moving up to 12U this fall and is seeking one competitive athlete to join a strong, established roster. We compete at the B level, play approximately 70 games each season, and attend 6–7 tournaments.

🍒 Congrats to our Softball Spectacular All Tournament team selections! 🍒

Harper Pelasky - Harper brought a big bat to Michigan batting .600 on the weekend with 6 hits, 3 RBIs and no strikeouts. She went 3 for 3 in Game 2 of Pool Play! On the field she made some important plays at shortstop - filling in from the outfield when we needed her.

Payton Raef - Payton also brought her bat this weekend hitting .778 with 7 hits and 4 RBIs! Payton’s speed on the base paths helped us score during critical times across all games. She was the tying run in the championship game! Payton also came in relief as pitcher in 3 games helping take on some of the load during a hot weekend, and keeping batters off their game.

Morgan Juhl - Morgan was an ace in the circle for Thunder 11u Black pitching 12 innings across the weekend and stepping up big time when another pitcher was injured. She also made some amazing plays on the field - including a diving catch at shortstop to end a crucial inning. Morgan batted a .300 on the weekend and knocked in 3 runs.

Ryleigh Hoffman - Ryleigh’s defense shone this weekend. She had some time behind the plate as catcher and threw out a runner at 2nd. She also had some critical catches in the outfield saving some runs from scoring. Ryleigh swung .400 on the weekend with 4 hits and 3 RBIs, including a bomb hit to left field. She also beat out a throw to home - securing our win in the championship game.

Congrats to all 4 of these rockstars!

Last tournament of the season and we walked away as Champs!! So proud of the resilience of this team - battling the heat and tough competition and playing for each other! Some highlights on the weekend:
