Under the lights Tuesday night, the TC Christian varisty boys soccer team battled back from an early deficit to earn an exciting 7-5 victory over Kalkaska. After Kalkaska jumped out to a quick lead, the Sabres responded with an offensive surge to take a 6-2 lead into halftime. Noah Torbet led the scoring with four goals, while Isaac Torbet added three goals, with assists coming from Elliott Bigger, Gray Strehl, and Isaac Torbet. Gray Strehl turned in a strong performance in the midfield, while Aiden Slick held up well in the backfield as the Sabres fought to maintain their lead. Kalkaska mounted a second-half comeback, scoring three goals to pull within one, but the Sabres answered with the final goal of the night with just under two minutes remaining to secure the 7-5 victory. The Sabres will look to build on the win Friday night at 5:00 p.m. when they host Cadillac Heritage Christian on the Keystone fields. Let's go, Sabres!

Our varsity volleyball team traveled to Mount Pleasant for the Heat on the Hardwood tournament and battled through pool play against Alma, Rudyard, Hale, Grayling, and Crystal Falls Forest Park. The Sabres dropped just one set all day, earning a spot in the championship game against the No. 1-ranked Division 3 team in the state, Saginaw Valley Lutheran.

In an exciting finish, the Sabres came out on top and are bringing home the 1st-place trophy to TC Christian!

TRAVERSE CITY — Elliott Bigger assisted on two goals and scored another to help Traverse City Christian to a 3-1 halftime lead Thursday over Manistee.

TC Christian won their season opener in soccer tonight defeating Manistee 3-1. The boys looked good rocking their school colors!

The MHSAA Golf Championship is in the books. The Sabres finished in 11th place as a team. Senior, Garrett Schultz finished 3rd overall with a 77-75 over the two days. Junior, Joey Mirabelli finished 5th with a 80-74. The only school to have two top 5 finishers.

Well done Sabres. Congrats to Garrett, Joey, Corban, Harper, and Isaac! Great season guys! ⚔️ ⛳️

After Day 1 at the MHSAA State Golf Championship at Michigan State University, the Sabres are in the middle of the pack. Currently in 11th place they will look to score low and move up the leaderboard.

As individuals, Garrett Schultz is in 4th Place overall with an opening round of 77 on Friday and Joey Mirabelli is in 6th place with his opening round of 80. With over a 100 golfers in the field that is very impressive. Garrett and Joey will try to make their moves to the top of the leaderboard today!
