Water's Edge Gymnastics The best place in Northern Michigan for childrens’ gymnastics! Now offering preschool and recreational classes, as well as competitive gymnastics and cheer.

Welcome to the Edge! Waters Edge Gymnastics is a USA Gymnastics (USAG)* Junior Olympic Training facility serving area children since1979. Our instructors are CPR and first aid certified as well as USAG safety certified. Waters Edge Gymnastics follows the strict guidelines set forth USAG for skill progression and safety. Our Equipment is top of the line and inspected daily. We offer the full range of women’s as well as men’s equipment. In addition to the traditional gymnastics equipment, Waters Edge has a 30′ long Tumble-Trak (trampoline), an in-ground resi-pit, netted trampoline, an Air-Trak, and an array of wonderful preschool equipment and toys.

Did you know?
Water's Edge offers Ninja classes! These classes are designed for kids age 7-10 years old and focus on balance, strength and safety.

And if your child is too young for that Ninja class, don't worry! Drakes Athletics, our amazing cheer program, offers Lil' Ninjas, which is specifically designed for kids ages 3-5. Lil' Ninjas helps build coordination and confidence while burning off energy.

We have Ninja classes at the Main Gym on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Lil' Ninjas is available at the Den on Monday evenings.

THE GYM WILL BE CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 5-7. We will reopen on the 8th.

There are 5 Saturdays and 5 Mondays in August, so no makeup tokens will be necessary.

Fall Schedule changes: Starting September 8

Preschool Open gym will go back to Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30-12:15
Monday Open gym will be 8:00-9:00
Wednesday Boys Ninja will be starting at 5:00 and Wednesday Boys Strength and tumbling will start at 6:00
We are adding another Ninja Class on Thursdays at 5:00
Weekday Morning Preschool classes will move back to the main Gym starting 9/8.
Tuesdays are with Coach Kaleigh
Thursdays and Fridays are with Coach Stephanie Russell

Exciting News! We are thrilled to be able to offer 10 Week Ninja Sessions this summer! Starting the week of 6/15 we will be offering Ninja sessions on two different days: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-6:55. Cost will be $250 for the 10 week session and you can register on your parent portal. Sign up soon, as these sessions are sure to fill up quickly!
