For years Joyce 💛 and I have talked about a podcast interview at her kitchen table. At my recent backyard Talent Show, I asked guests to write questions for her. She was the “advice columnist” for the evening. In between each act, she would answer them live. There were 30 questions which means I got through less than half.
🎙️ Today, we sat down and finally recorded a conversation including the questions folks had.
Her spirit, wit and wisdom have not faded.
I only cried twice. First when I asked her the final question - she grabbed my hand so that I could catch my breath and proceed. And again, as she answered it.
She will be 100 years old on October 10th and as we approach that date, this podcast will be edited and released.

Her life has been incredible and there are no signs indicating that it won’t continue this way.
To her, it’s just another day. To me, it’s one less day I get to have her as my neighbor.
