The Oakland University Men's Ice Hockey Team, established in 2006, is a member of the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference and is the defending National Champion from 2016.

2026 Commitments: Our 17th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Gavin Otto! Gavin played last season for the Metro Jets elite squad where he was teammates with incoming forward Tyler Dix! The Colorado native will look to bolster the defensive group this season!

2026 Commitments: Our 16th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Eli Chodun! Eli played for Utica Fraser last season and is looking to add to the current goaltending group. Eli follows a long line of Utica kids to join the program!

2026 Commitments: Our 15th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Carl Merkle! Carl played for Lakes Area two seasons ago and is transferring in from Michigan State. Carl will look to bolster the defensive group and will add to a robust core for the team!

2026 Commitments: Our 14th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Max Johnston! Max played the last four seasons for Bay City High School and will add to the team’s blue line! During those four seasons, Max contributed 52 points in 93 games!

2026 Commitments: Our 13th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Tyler Dix! Tyler played for the Metro Jets elite squad the last three seasons where he added 80 points to his 130 career games!

2026 Commitments: Our 12th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Alex Wilkey! Alex played on the Steele County Blades and was former teammates with newcomer Patrick O’Gara! Alex played in 42 games last season where he had 36 points!

2026 Commitments: Our 11th of many recruits for the 2026 season is Patrick O’Gara! O’G joins us from the Steele County Blades and played with current Golden Grizzlies Max Pierce and Danny Fletcher while with the Dells Ducks in 24-25! Last season, Patrick played in 14 games with a .895 SV%.
