π± Before you hit send...

Ask yourself:
"What would my Wise Mind say?"

π§ π Mindful vs. Mind Full ππ§ββοΈ
Ever notice how your brain can feel like 37 browser tabs are open at once? π
Mind Full might sound like:
βοΈ "Did I respond to that email?"
βοΈ "What's for dinner?"
βοΈ "I need to schedule that appointment."
βοΈ "What if that conversation goes badly?"
βοΈ "I should be doing something more productive."
When our minds are full, we're often stuck in the past, worrying about the future, or trying to juggle everything at once.
β¨ Mindful, on the other hand, is gently bringing your attention back to right now.
Maybe it's noticing:
πΏ The feeling of your feet on the ground
βοΈ The warmth of the sun on your skin
π΅ Sounds around you
π¨ Your next breath
Mindfulness doesn't mean having an empty mind. It means noticing where your mind is and choosing to come back to the present moment without judgment. π
π Quick Mindfulness Tip:
Pause for 30 seconds and use your senses:
π Name 5 things you can see
β 4 things you can feel
π 3 things you can hear
π 2 things you can smell
π
1 thing you can taste
Small moments of mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve focus, and create a little more space between you and overwhelming thoughts. π±

In DBT, acceptance and change are not opposites β they are both part of the path forward...
π Acceptance says:
β’ Your pain is real
β’ You are doing the best you can
β’ Your experiences make sense
π₯ Change says:
β’ New behaviors are needed
β’ Skills can be learned
β’ A life worth living is possible
DBT teaches us that healing happens when we hold both truths at the same time. We can accept ourselves as we are and work toward change. The middle path is where growth begins. ππ§‘
