The SHAC Center is having a Senior Day this Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Among the activities, the Rensselaer County Sheriffs Dept is holding a talk regarding scams against the elderly.

When we talk about self defense, this isn’t just limited to protecting yourself against a physical altercation, protecting yourself against people who would prey on your financial well being is also very important.

The Sheriffs Dept will provide warning signs, along with tips about how to prevent these scams.
