Glass early, glass often. 👀

If you're planning a backcountry hunt this fall, May is not too early to start scouting. Quality binoculars on a stable tripod can be the difference between spotting a bull at 800 yards or walking right past him.

Pro tip: slow down your glassing. Most hunters move the glass way too fast and miss animals that are bedded and still.

Your blade says a lot about how seriously you take the outdoors. 🔪

A few things worth knowing before your next gear purchase: not all fixed blades are created for the same task (field dressing vs. bushcraft vs. camp work), carbon steel holds an edge longer but needs more maintenance than stainless, and a good sheath is just as important as the knife itself.

May is the perfect month to audit your kit before summer camping season kicks off. What's in your kit right now? 👇

There is something about an early morning on the water with a rod in the holder and the horizon turning gold that just cannot be replicated. 🌅🎣

May offshore fishing is some of the best of the year. The water is warming, the baitfish are moving, and the big ones are following.

Stop waiting for the perfect conditions. The best time to go is when you can. Who is heading out this weekend? 🙋
