May is an important time for us because it is National Water Safety Month! 💦

May is National Water Safety Month. 💦🏊🤿

Staying safe in and around water takes more than just swimming lessons, it requires multiple layers of protection:

💧Close supervision of children and never leaving kids unattended near water.

💧 Proper fencing, safety equipment, awareness of hazards, and U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets for inexperienced and young swimmers.

💧Knowing emergency actions and understanding that water safety is everyone's responsibility.

Learning to swim and practicing water safety skills create a lifelong foundation for protecting lives. Let’s make water safety a priority this May and every day!
