RPI Ballroom Dance

Dance with us this Friday! It’s free! It’s rumba and hustle! It’s fun! There will be snacks!

Come Dance With Me Friday the 17th from 7-10 pm in the Union McNeil Room and get FREE rumba and hustle lessons followed by social dancing set to Bruno Mars’s greatest hits! Come Just the Way You Are, no partner or experience required. There will also be snacks! We heard a rumor that Bruno Mars himself Just Might be there, you’ll have to show up to find out.

Our home competition was a major success! Endless thanks to all our judges and officials, our Comp Coordinator Kamryn Duggins, Paul, Eric, and Karen for the beautiful photos, and everyone that came to watch and support!

Comp is tomorrow!! Get hype!! Doors open bright and early at 8 and dancing starts at 9!

The competition will be hosted in the Armory which can be found on maps as the Alumni Sports and Recreation Center. If the parking lot around the Armory is full, additional parking ca be found in the North Lot. See you tomorrow!

The RPI Engineers Dancesport Competition is rapidly approaching! Join us on March 28th in the Armory to see our competitors starting with smooth at 9am. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for students with their ID. We’re also looking for volunteers to help us throughout the day! Scan the QR code for more info about volunteering. Join us on Saturday, March 21st in the Union McNeil Room from 6-9pm for Swing into Spring! We will be teaching FREE swing dance lessons starting at six, followed by social dancing. No partner or experience is required. See you there!

Join RPI Ballroom and the RPI Players for a joint character and dance workshop on February 14th in the Academy basement ballroom at noon! We hope to see you there!
