Congratulations to all of our hardworking athletes! We've overcome so much adversity! Our men placed first at Liberty Leagues with a team total of 319 points! And our women came in first with a total of 266 points! Way to go!

For pole vault it was the meet the freshman at Cortland on sunday. On the Men's side,
James Zeolla placed second with a jump clearing 4.40 meters.

On the Women's side, Dayna Moyer made her collegiate debut placing third with a jump of 2.80 meters.

"As of right now for the group, getting back into a normal full length season with lift sessions will be incredibly helpful. The group consists of mostly freshman and sophomores so it is a really promising sight for the next few years." -Hunter Borwick

1st meet in the books with plenty of highlights! We'll post once a day until leagues this Saturday showing off the team starting with Throws!

Overall, we had a bunch of PRs as well as a podium showings!
Senior Ben Zawislak PRd in disc Freshman Ryan kerr PRd in disc, Senior Justin Park PRd
in hammer. Sophomore Maddie Mast PRd in disc, Senior Lorna Drexler PRd in hammer.

Justin Park, Pat Butler, and Ryan Kerr went 1,2,3 in Javelin respectively. Ben and Justin took 3rd and 4th in hammer respectively.

Lorna Drexler was 2nd in Hammer, and 3rd in Javelin. And Maddie Mast took home the gold for Javelin.

there came close to the spirit that we had. People pushed through the
difficulties of COVID and had fun anyway.
They throwers proved that we can bounce back and learn how to dominate
again after a very inconsistent schedule leading up to the meet"- Lorna Drexler

So thrilled and thankful to say our first practice is in the books! Small group but eventually we will get back to larger squads and hopefully a competition!
