Most women running a business are told that making more money means giving up their time. That’s a structure problem, and just like a house, structures can be remodeled.

When a client of mine came in, she was saying yes to every shiny idea that came her way, which left her with a bunch of small revenue streams that weren’t doing much for her bottom line and had her feeling stretched thin.

Scattered offers = scattered income. She had no predictability, and she couldn’t explain what she did in one sentence because it was pretty much the kitchen sink.

We zoomed out, looked at her experience, her network, and who she felt most called to work with, and she realized she needed to do less and put her energy into higher ticket offers that actually use her expertise.

We cut the smaller offers and everything that wasn’t working for her, and now she has two offers she’s known for and feels confident selling. Referrals and opportunities come her way regularly because what she does is so clear, and the base of her monthly revenue stays steady.

The best time management hack you never considered is having someone look at your business and tell you exactly what to focus on.

A client of mine had been running her business solo for five years, and every night after her kids went to bed she was back at her laptop until 9, 10, and sometimes midnight just to feel caught up.

She knew she needed to improve her operational systems but had “no time” to fix anything.

Having “no time” is exactly when you get ninja laser focused on the time you DO have.

First, we wrote down everything she did in a week. This was tedious but a huge eye opener for her that a lot of her hours were going to tasks that made her zero dollars.

As she grew her business she’d kept doing them out of habit, because nobody had ever questioned what they were for.

Once we cut those, she had breathing room to figure out what she could hand off and get it organized enough to pass to a virtual assistant.

Then we got specific. We started with her client onboarding, mapped every step from the moment someone says yes, and handed it to her assistant so it runs without her.

Next we looked at which numbers she should be tracking in her business and set up a simple system for checking them regularly, so she’s no longer guessing how things are going.

Now those pieces are taken care of we’re refining her lead flow process, deciding what needs to happen at each stage, the timelines for it, and writing it all down so it’s something she can pass off too.

You can’t see what’s worth your time from inside your own business, because everything feels necessary when you’re the one doing it.

A second set of eyes sorts it fast, and every hour after that goes to the work that actually grows your revenue.
