The wall keeps growing!
This year we added three more names to Sahuaro’s State Placers Wall:
Christian Marsh - 2nd (157)
Isaac Lugo - 5th (165)
Karlie Schneider - 6th (138)
It’s the first time since 2010 that Sahuaro has had three state placers in one season and the first time ever with a girls state placer! Proud moment for the Sahuaro Wrestling program!

Huge congratulations to our 2026 AIA State Qualifiers!

This marks six total state qualifiers between our boys and girls teams!

The most ever since the start of the AIA girls sanctioned state tournament,
and the most since 2014 for the program overall. Purpose > Outcome.

So proud of Karlie Schneider and Lillian Vakatawa for punching their tickets to state and representing with heart, toughness, and discipline all season long.

And major respect to freshman Aurelia Aguirre who completed her first season and who left everything on the mat this year. No fear. No excuses. Just growth, grit, and grind.
