We know and love the foam roller as a fantastic myofacial release tool (aka a fancy term for massage that you’re able to perform yourself!), but did you know there’s a ton of other ways you can use them (different densities, lengths, etc) to help support your strength training, too?
Learn about foam rollers & more on Thursday, June 4th at 5:30pm in-person at FIT or virtually! $20 to join in.
Shout-out to .davidskolnik.dpt for the plank roller idea AND for helping my hypermobile hips with the roller SLDL back in a CEU course in 2024 💪🏼👏🏼
Fully Integrated Training
Fitness is for anybody and ANY body. We believe in helping women get stronger & feel great!

You’ll always feel better after a workout at FIT 💙
We are F.I.T. 🫶🏼
Welcome to FIT:
We care about YOU, not the number on the scale.
Total body health has far more to do with what’s happening internally and how strong you are than how much you weigh.
Let yourself start to break out of the mold that women were told they needed to stay in when it comes to fitness.
We’re allowed to be strong, powerful, capable.
Now let’s show them.
A little helpful trick I use for clients with shoulder and neck pain - a prone “wall” slide!
This replaces the traditional wall slide movement by allowing for the body to be in a resting position, allowing less tension from the start point.
Try it out and let me know what you think!
💅🏼
It’s just what we do.
Can we just obsess over for a minute?!
Not only has she gone from not working out at all to 2 full body strength training sessions a week, she also is starting to incorporate changes into her day to day at a permanent makeup artist: being more aware of posture, ensuring she’s FUELING herself during work (this was huge!!!), and making time for solid recovery post-session.
Stoked with this journey, and this is just the beginning! 👏🏼
Growth looks beautiful on you, babe!
Yes, strengthening your “core” isn’t a BAD idea - but our core is everything from our chest and lats down to our erectors and abdominals. The CORE of our body is everything that is at the center - aka everything other than your arms, legs, and neck.
If we don’t load our spine and our back musculature in some capacity, it has zero chance to get stronger.
Stronger = more support.
More support = less pain.
Training isn’t just an option, it’s how we save lives.
SO STOKED. This is a huge mental hurdle moment - the last time we loaded 105 it didn’t go as planned, and 100 was actually our “planned” top set of the day… but we like to strike when the iron is hot over here. We’ll clean up the pauses and this will feel like a no brainer on the platform come September!
Proud of you 💖
