I spent some time with Dan Zimmerman touring his touring trike setup and riding our trikes to lunch at the Mercado on Congress st in Tucson. Dan is the man behind Spokesfightingstrokes.org. He travels throughout the USA with his mega trike trailer introducing stroke and brain injury survivors to adaptive cycling using one of his 22 trikes he has! I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dan and his dedication to help anyone find enjoyment riding a recumbent trike!

We had a great time at Tucson TOT...lots of riders from many different states and was good to put faces with some of the names! Dan Zimmerman from Spokesfightingstrokes.org came to my shop today and we had a great conversation about his organization...and of course trikes 🙂 I encourage you to take a look at Dan's web page and learn about all he does for individuals who have had a stroke getting them out on a trike...amazing guy with a great story! I was so taken by Dan that I decide to donate $1500 to his cause and become a sponsor!

If you have an Azub trike with the Rohloff electric shifting option e-14, be very careful when folding the trike...or this could happen!! Azub runs the cable internally through the hinge and then it travels about 12" to an exit hole where it continues externally to the Rohloff hub connector. The special Rohloff cable is $50 but it could take a few hours to replace...

We've been in SE Asia for the past month...visited Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam...was quite an adventure and we experienced a very different culture. All of the people we met with were very friendly and welcomed us into their homes and shops. Actually did not see many bicycles...mostly scooters jamming the roads around Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Saigon. It was a very memorable trip we will never forget! Shop will be open on this Monday and I have a backlog of work plus waiting on an ICE and AZUB trike to be delivered for my customers...of course Customs have them on hold...as usual

I work on a fair amount of adult tricycles (unfortunately)..especially the $199 specials from Amazon...what absolute junk!! Nothing is adjustable as they use the cheapest components available...the wheels are horrendous..they are impossible to true...I had one customer complain that she was going to fall off the tricycle and thought I did something incorrectly...LOL....sorry that is just the way they are!!

Azub is in the process of collecting serial numbers from Bosch gen 5 systems to upgrade to 100 nm.

2020 Full Fat under warranty with 3700 miles. Reported it on Wednesday had new part delivered today! Make sure you register your trike!!

Had a customer pick up his new ICE Sprint X in red recently. Beautiful trike! Set it up with tubeless tires, EP801 with 11 speed gearing! Have another ICE trike on the way, Adventure 20 FS with EP801 and Rohloff rear hub. This one is in kelly green! Fantastic fun trikes to ride!!
