Battery Service Update

I wanted to personally let everyone know about a major change we’re making at the shop.

Over the years, I’ve tested, diagnosed, repaired, and rebuilt hundreds of e-bike batteries. It’s a service we’ve been proud to offer because very few shops are able to do it.

Unfortunately, the reality is that most batteries simply aren’t repairable, and proper diagnostics aren’t a quick process. Battery testing requires specialized equipment and can take weeks just to determine whether a battery can even be saved due to volume of repairs. We also experimented with battery conversions using replacement cases, but too many projects ended up being incompatible or simply not economical to complete.

Rather than have customers waiting weeks only to find out their battery can’t be repaired, I’ve decided it’s time to change our approach.

Effective immediately:
✅ We’ll continue selling replacement batteries for our supported models.
✅ We’ll continue diagnosing battery issues on e-bikes that we sell.
❌ We will no longer repair, rebuild, or convert customers e-bikes with any aftermarket batteries effective immediately.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but I’d rather focus our time on providing faster, more reliable service than continuing a process that too often leaves everyone frustrated.

☀️ Summer Holiday Update!

Beginning June 27th, we’ll be operating with reduced staffing until July 20th.

✅ Online orders remain open
✅ In-store pickups available by appointment
✅ Email and Messenger support will still be available
✅ One team member will be keeping things running while we’re away
🔧 Repair services will be very limited, and some repairs may need to wait until normal operations resume

Think of it as a “soft close”—we may be away, but we’re still happy to help however we can. Response times may be a little slower than usual, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and support.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS/RIDERS

As a reminder, our scheduled lunch closure from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM during the business week has been in place for many months and is part of our regular operating hours.

These hours are clearly posted on our front door, Google, and Yelp. During this time:

-Doors remain locked
-Pickups and drop-offs pause
-Phones/messages may not be answered
-Staff are unavailable

Recently, we have experienced repeated incidents involving customers aggressively knocking on doors or becoming upset during the posted lunch closure. We respectfully ask all customers to understand that this is a scheduled operational break and to plan visits accordingly.

Our staff works hard through high-volume repair days, and this dedicated hour helps maintain service quality and professionalism for everyone we assist.
