Have you ever heard or seen capoeira?
It's an Afro-Brazilian martial art that involves kicks, music, acrobatics, and culture. Capoeira is, in a way, the grandfather of break dancing.
With capoeira, you will develop strength, flexibility, and reflexes, and you will also be part of a worldwide community.

Beginners start their path with basic movements, but soon they start developing movements that turn into a dialogue when they're training with their friends and people from other academies.
If you're interested in learning more about capoeira, visit us every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 8pm at Headquarters Dance studio.

Huge congrats to our dance instructor Vortex for winning PopnLocktoberfest! His crew Tanzen Team, brought so much energy and excitement to the stage, showcasing their incredible skills and passion for dance. They won not only because of their amazing talent, but also their ability to connect with each other in routines which brought the dance floor to life. PopnLocktoberfest was a great experience. Thank you for making this event happen for the AZ Community. Cant wait for the next one!🙌

PopnLocktober Breaking Workshop🔥

This workshop was absolutely epic! The vibes were insane, and the energy in the room was electrifying. We had the chance to learn creative movements from top-notch instructors and connect with fellow passionate dancers. It was a smashing success that left us all feeling inspired and pumped up. Can't wait for the next one!

THE RETURN OF TUCSON'S BIGGEST ALL STYLE DANCE BATTLE!

Grand Prize of $1000 will be awarded to a RANDOMLY assembled crew. Pop N' Locktoberfest III will run similar to last year's battle, the crew will be assembled after the select dancers make it past prelims. Crews will be ranging from 5 people to just you having to rep by yourself. So, your team of 5, 4, 3, or 2 can win and split the money, or you could win $1000 if you are placed by yourself. It's the luck of the draw and the strength of the dancers that will decide!

Date: Saturday, September 30, 2023

Time: Doors open at 3pm

Flooristas 8th anniversary battle!

Happy anniversary to the Flooristas crew!! We had so much fun at the battle. Thank you guys for throwing a dope event, lots of experiences that we had and Shout out to the the music was awesome. It’s always fun to see the dance community come together and support one another😁
