Our final 2026 graduating senior is Zoey Switzer! πŸ€—

Zoey is graduating from Catalina Foothills High School. πŸ¦… She will be attending Valparaiso University in Indiana. Zoey is excited to swim for Valpo while studying Exercise Science and Sport Psychology. πŸ“š

She has been swimming competitively for 10 years. Outside of swimming, she loves to read, draw, build legos and hang out with her friends. πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ

Zoey's favorite moments from swim are all the team travel meets where she got to spend time together with her teammates!

Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Zoey. We are so proud of you and will be cheering you on from Hillenbrand! Go Beacons! πŸŽ“ 😁 🏊

Next up is Trey Smyczek 😁 πŸŽ“

Trey is graduating from University High School. 🐧 He plans to take a gap year and continue working to save up for travel and building a new bike. Trey has been swimming on Ford since 2021 and his favorite events are sprint freestyle. His best swim memory from his time on Ford was the final day of Spring Sectionals 2025- the team had great swims and spirits and ended the night with a huge BBQ feast. πŸŽ‰

Trey's advice to younger swimmers is to focus on enjoying the process and not get obsessed with your times! Focus on the time you spend with your teammates because when you graduate and move on, you will wish you savored every moment. 🫢

Congratulations to you, Trey, on your graduation! πŸŽ“

When he’s not swimming, he enjoys writing and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Kaelen plans to enter flight school and earn his pilot's license. ✈️

Thank you for everything, Team Shackley 🀝

Thanks to David & Maya Shackley, numerous U.S. National Team members have received funding through our Donor-Athlete Partnership Program, while the tandem has provided additional support and resources to swimming programs and initiatives that have impacted swimmers across the country.
