You know what’s great about home schooling and working from home?? Nature walks. Every week. Today we explored the neighborhood and mountains of my childhood (for a bit anyway). I played on this bridge and crossed this wash and climbed these rocks with my friends. The tree down the hill from our house that I sat in when the wash was running still stands! It was surreal and lovely and I kind of want to live on this road again! I think my kids agree. ☺️

It’s always lovely to receive flowers and know someone thought of you. It means even more when they know fall colors and arranging your own flowers are your happy place. ☺️💕 Thank you .jaynes.photography they are gorgeous! 😘

Umm it’s mostly in the 90s for the next week. Fall is coming early folks! 🌵💕

This little guy lives in our fountain grass and he’s adorable. 😍

Side note: weird coincidences happen with my sister and I constantly. Show up matching, respond to the same ads, and apparently find itty bitty ridiculously cute lizards on the same day. Check out story to see her little friend. ☺️😂

Second side note: please ignore that my hands are literally as rough as the lizard skin. I’ve been project crazy and hate gloves. 😬🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Last Saturday: swimming. Today: tent in the rain. ❤️

I’d like to introduce you all (if you don’t know her already) to this fabulous lady. I’m slightly biased (she’s my sis) but I think anyone who meets her would agree she’s pretty amazing! She does basically... everything. Aesthetician, RN, wife and mom, and so much more and with fabulous style. 😏 She has previously owned and operated a successful skin studio. After a couple years being awesome on one of her many other careers, she realized skincare wasn’t out of her system. So now she has a new studio, The Skin Cooperative. She opened her beautiful doors a month ago. Talk about bad timing right? She cares about the health and wellness of the community and has closed up shop for now. This is challenging for all businesses, but hits especially hard small business, let alone ones that just began. Please follow and and join her email list. She will be sending out specials and has been doing amazing posts about home skincare. Let’s support our community and the families and businesses that make us special. 💕🌵

Family exploring. 💕 It was a beautiful day and the perfect way to get out of the house for a bit. Makes me so grateful to live in this beautiful city in the current situation. We have practically no limits of places to explore and the perfect weather to do it. I was happy to see that, for the most part, anyone we saw was very respectful. We gave each other space so we could safely share the outdoors. ☺️

Everything is so green right now! Literally left a client’s house, saw this and went. Forget errands... walking this trail was more important. 😍 I was grateful my niece and nephew were willing to join me and just happen to live right there. ☺️ One of the many perks of living in this glorious valley.
