Sunday Morning ready to show Sweetwater some love after a hefty monsoon season! Redtail Ridge, Ocotillo Hill, Oxbow & a bit of NighHawk got a trim and some light tread work done. Thank you to today's sponsor, Dent Works, and to our volunteers for putting in that sweat equity 💪🏼

Be Cool ✌️

Safety Talks are a must! All our trail days start with a brief safety demonstration so you feel confident in using the tools!

🔥 14 VOLUNTEERS. 3 MILES. LOTS OF SMILES. 🌵🚵‍♂️

Sweetwater Trailhead got some serious love this weekend! Our crew of 14 hit Redtail Ridge, Ocotillo, The Spine, Oxbow, and part of Night Hawk, putting in the sweat to get 3 miles of trail brushed, cleaned up, and ready to ride.

We had a great mix of brand-new SDMB members and some OGs out there! It’s always awesome seeing new faces alongside the folks who have been taking care of Tucson trails for years. ❤️

And because trail work is always better with food…huge thanks to our lunch sponsors Dent Works — Nick & Lauren Terrell — and to Beyond Bread for giving SDMB such a sweet deal on lunch! 🥪👏

We even made a new connection along the way! A concerned neighbor stopped by to ask why we were parking in the wash. After a quick chat about who we are and what we do, he said he and his are very interested in joining SDMB’s Trail Steward program. THAT is what community is all about! 🙌

All in all, a terrific day on a most awesome trail system with an even more awesome crew.

Want to get your hands dirty and help keep Tucson’s trails in top shape? 🌵💪
