FIRST Tech Challenge Team 7840

Team 7840 ranked 9th in the qualifying matches and played in the first round of finals in the Grand Canyon Division of AZ FTC Championship. Although we didn't advance, we had a 90-pt autonomous program in the finals and played a good game against Valley X robotics, the eventual winner of our Division. Since I am leaving after graduation, I am handing over team 7840, including this page, to Daniel Shev. I hope Team 7840 will go further under the leadership of Daniel. - Tianyi Zhu Feb 26, 2017

In today's Chandler Qualifying Tournament, Team 7840 competed in the finals and qualified for the Arizona FIRST Tech Challenge Championship. We thank our sister team 3666 for their gracious help.

2016-17 FTC Tucson Qualifier Rockwell Collins "Innovate" Award

Today Team 7840 participated in the 2016-17 FIRST Tech Challenge Tucson Qualifying Tournament. Thanks to FIRST Tech Challenge Team 3666's mentoring, we were awarded the "Innovate Award" for our wonderful chicken-wing-inspired design of the Cap Ball lifting mechanism. Congratulations go to Team 3666's qualification for AZ state championship.
