Once again, this is the profile photo for our FB page. It is of James Bregman throwing uchimata. I am not sure, but think that it is from the 1964 Olympics, where he won the first ever Judo Olympic medal for the USA.

"Traditional Judo" All kinds of clubs, private, national and international organizations calling themselves "traditional judo", but only a few (the big ones) define what they mean by "traditional judo". My definition is: Kodokan Judo, by the Kodokan. Not IJF. that, regardless of kata competition, is sport. Sport is a PART of Judo. IJF should either change it's name to International Sport Judo, or shut down. I have a definition of "sport judo". If interested comment below.
