Do you love being around horses and working outdoors? Sunkist Stables is a peaceful, no drama, welcoming place where hard work meets heart—and we’re looking for a reliable, animal-loving Stable Hand to join our team.
This job is all about showing up for the horses—rain or shine—and giving them the daily care they deserve. In return, you'll find purpose, fresh air, and a supportive team that values your effort.

What You’ll Do:
-Feed and water our horses
-Clean stalls and troughs
-Help maintain a clean, safe barn environment
-Be part of something meaningful every day

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

-Dependable and consistent—our animals need you daily
-Comfortable with physical, outdoor work
Positive, hardworking, and love being around horses
-Experienced with horses (a big plus, but not required)

Welcoming Rescued Ponies Amid the Oracle Wildfire

As the Cody Fire continues to impact the Oracle community, Sunkist Stables has opened our facilities to care for several ponies rescued from the evacuation zones. These gentle animals are safe and settling in, and we're honored to provide them with a temporary home until their owner can make new arrangements.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fire, and we're deeply grateful to the first responders working tirelessly to protect lives and property.

Proper footwear is a must when riding horses! If you don't own riding boots, any closed-toe shoes will do just fine.

We provide lessons, host special events, and take pride in keeping your horses happy and healthy between visits.

If it's your first time riding, we've got plenty of tips to make you look like an expert in the saddle. Here's a couple to get you started: Hold your arms at a 90-degree angle in a relaxed position and never pull too hard on the reins.
