EXTRA, EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! ⚾️🎀
The Bisbee Copper Queens headed out to Globe, Arizona eager to bring their moxie for the last games of the season and bring it they did! Showing true grit and determination they won the best two out of three against their lady rivals the Maricopa Maidens. The Maidens didn't make it easy, winning the first game and showing the cranks that these gals can PLAY! The second game commenced immediately after and the win went to the Queens. This fired the ladies up and both teams doubled down for the third game. There were two-baggers, double plays, pickles, on-field collisions- what else could you ask for in an exciting game of vintage baseball! The Queens were beyond thrilled to bring home the coveted Smacker Bat. What a grand way to end their inaugural season!

⚾️🎄Christmas with the Cranks🎄 ⚾️
"Cranks" in Vintage Base Ball refers to the fans. An enthusiastic crank lends support by shouting for their team from the sidelines. They can even sway the arbitrators call! Out? No! Safe! We had a few calls switched in our favor during this year's Christmas Classic at Historic Warren Ballpark. Thanks to all of our cranks who came out, cheered us on, participated in the Christmas Tree Kiss Cam, and enjoyed a great day of vintage base ball. 🎉

Thank you Bisbee Badassery for your support!
A debt of gratitude is owed to the estimable Bisbee Badassery, whose generous patronage has strengthened the cause of vintage Base Ball upon our Arizona grounds. By their hand, the newly-formed Bisbee Copper Queens Base Ball Club have been properly arrayed in fresh uniforms of fine cut and character. Though known in modern times as a lively house of fare—where travelers find hearty victuals, spirited refreshments, and a bustling porch fit for comrades and wayfarers alike—they have shown themselves friends to our noble game. Their support has given our ladies’ club the dignity of a full and proper kit, and for this we tender our sincere thanks.
The rain took a powder, and the Arizona Vintage Base Ball League swung into its 2025–2026 season without a hitch! The Copper Queens and Maricopa Maidens duked it out in a dazzling doubleheader, and let me tell you—those gals showed true grit, plenty of guts, and looked darn good to boot!
They played hard, laughed loud, and proved once again that they know exactly how to bring the fun to vintage base ball! ⚾✨

⚾✨ History came alive this weekend at historic Ft. Lowell in Tucson, Arizona! After 70 years off the field, the Copper Queens — Bisbee’s own vintage all-women’s base ball team — made their grand return, facing off against the all-male Tucson Saguaros.
Sabrina Solo made history by scoring the first run for the Queens, marking a new chapter for women’s baseball in Arizona. 🧡 Though the Queens didn’t take home the win, their spirit, skill, and smiles stole the show.
The girls went on to play Bisbee's beloved Black Sox for a double dose around the diamond.
Watch out — the Copper Queens are just getting started! 👑⚾
