6 weeks postpartum!
Getting into the gym again feels like starting from ground 0.

It’s been the hardest & happiest time of my life.
Trying to give myself some grace; it took 9 months to get here, and it’s gonna take some time to find my way back, plus, I received quite literally the best gift life has to offer.🥹

I’m excited to find this new version of myself & slowly get into the new rhythm of things! So elated to be back doing what I love the most.

Looking forward to sharing my postpartum journey & helping my fellow mamas (+ anyone else who’s also struggling w/ themselves, postpartum or not!)

It’s amazing how many people have no guilt & are totally emotionless when it comes finding more of themselves. They wake up, walk around, & go to bed with zero accountability. They can spend an entire day not working on improving themselves. Not because they physically or mentally couldn’t rather because they just didn’t want to. An entire day wasted & yet they are not thinking about the consequences & cumulative effect of wasted days. Since we can’t say s**t in this world nor can we hold people accountable, we have morphed into a society where we just encourage everyone to be happy with who they are and the status quo. DON’T TWIST MY MESSAGE- I am not saying to not be happy with you are. If there is something you literally CAN’T improve through hard work & effort… wait a minute, here I am now trying to explain what I mean so that I don’t offend people who are looking to be offended!!! The bottom line is this- no one is happy being behind the power curve in any situation in life but it has become very acceptable to ignore the voice of hard work and discipline. It is easy to ignore it because that it what society is pushing nowadays. In my life, I was behind the power curve in countless situations- my weight, my learning, my self-discipline, etc. Thank God I grew up in a generation that preached “work harder” rather than just accepting the cards that I was dealt. A lot of you are fu**ed nowadays because the message being preached is just the opposite. “That’s just how you were born”- be happy about it rather than attempt to outwork it! Be happy just meeting the standard!Just know that the very people who are preaching this to you and telling you that it is ok to be mediocre, are the very same people who will not hire you because they don’t want an underachiever on their team! They are just saying what they are told to say even though they don’t truly believe it. It’s easy to see why I am misunderstood by so many people because my message is almost obsolete nowadays. Many of you will continue to fail if you do not figure out how to do just because you need to do. No one gives a f**k what you want to do! Stay hard! 01/17/2023

These are my top 6 personal favorite accessory movements to help shape that b***y 🍑

Compounds are 🔑, but accessory movements are just as fundamental & help hit those smaller muscles that aren’t always targeted with your basic compound movements that aren’t able to hit those smaller muscle fibers.

This is why it’s important to have mixture of both for a well rounded plan!

Pick a couple of these for the end of your workout, lower weight, higher reps, and really focus on the mind to muscle connection.

I promise, it makes a difference!

If you’re always doing the same old og Barbell Squats, although having MANY great benefits, you’ll really benefit from trying out different variations of this staple movement!

🍑 Sumo Squats
🍑 Goblet Squat
🍑 Sissy Squats
🍑 Box Squats
🍑 BS Squat
🍑 Front Squat
🍑 Resistance Band Squats
and the list goes on!

💥 Changing up from just your regular squats can help target different muscles in your legs & put more focus on other areas.

My personal favorite being a good ol’ Box squat w a resistance band (very glute bias). Let this be a sign to try something new and get out of your comfort zone! You just may find yourself a new favorite movement to include on your next leg day!
