The impact the players have on New Mexico goes far beyond the entertainment they provide on match nights. They lead camps, visit schools and hospitals, and become our neighbors and valued members of our community. and stand with the USL Players Association () and ask other fans and supporters to join us in supporting them.

The previous CBA between the players and the league expired in December. While the league is promoting an exciting future that includes D1 and pro/rel, some clubs still don’t even offer health insurance and players from across the league have shared stories of substandard facilities and housing.

If is going to increase its profile domestically and abroad, it first needs to provide for the players who have chosen to continue their careers in the USL Championship. Some teams provide great facilities and benefits for their players, but the league is only as strong as its weakest clubs, and its time for the league to raise the floor of its standards.
