The Indoor Range has a new assortment of targets. Come by and punch some holes in them.

This is an early Throwback Thursday post.

TOPP isn't really new to Red Castle. Ten or eleven years ago, there were four members that started meeting every Thursday: (left to right) Dean Englund, Mike Bolden, Richard Kirkland, and Ken Waggoner.

They would regularly bring other members and one day one of the group brought Russ Dworshak. Russ is now the organizer of the TOPP group.

Dean and Ken have passed, but we appreciate the efforts of these four Thursday morning shooters. We thank you.

Here are the results for the 9/30/23 1000 yard prone rifle match. We didn't have many shooters this time but we had some fine shooting. Congratulations to Tracy for winning the event.

Our final match of 2023 will be here on October 14th. I am providing food so if you plan on attending, please send me a text before the match.

September 2023 RCGC 600 yard prone rifle results below. The 1000 yard prone rifle match is coming up on Saturday September 30th and the last 600 yard match of the year is on October 14th.

We had some really good shooting conditions and even better shooting today at the Red Castle Gun Club 600 Yard Prone Rifle Competition. Here are the results. Hope to see you next month. Don't forget we have a 1000 yard rifle match coming up on Sept 30th.

We had a great day for shooting and some fantastic scores shot at the July 8th Red Castle Gun Club 600 yard prone rifle match. For those of you not familiar 600 yard prone rifle matches, the X ring is 3 inches and the 10 ring is 6 inches for the F Open and F/TR shooters. The X ring is 6 inches and the 10 ring is 12 inches for the shooters using a sling in the prone position. The competition was really stiff this month. If you want to give it a try, look us up on our website.
