Allow me to reintroduce myself.

I started this page back in 2022, with the hopes of educating athletes on my view of “golf specific” training.

Which took me from working at a country club just outside Washington, DC to a golf performance center in Jupiter, FL and now back home here in Tulsa, OK.

When I got going, it was easy to make posts online - I literally just posted videos of myself doing exercises and workouts of what truly helps golfers play better. Not silly golf swing looking exercises.

Which worked really well - I helped people, gained followers, and eventually was able to grow the business I still run today with my wife - Lift Heavy, Swing Fast - where hundreds of athletes every month trust me with their training.

However - after years of running an online business, spending most days creating content, trying to find the right video hook or calls to action, I decided I wanted more from my life.

That I have more to offer.

I wanted to be a human again. I wasn’t built to sit behind a screen all day.

So I went back to in person training in January this year.

Immediately I realized I wanted to make an even bigger impact, inside the walls of the club, and outside in my hometown to make Tulsa a healthier place to live.

That bigger impact, means leading, taking ownership and helping a team grow to new heights they’ve never seen.

Now I’m the Lead General (General Manager) and Personal Training Leader.

It’s a dream job.

Stephanie was more than a mother - she was the foundation. The one who showed up, worked hard, and built a life that gave her family opportunities they wouldn’t have had otherwise.

The business Austin runs today exists because of her sacrifice, her standards, and the way she raised him.

She battled pancreatic cancer with strength, and while the outcome is something too many families know all too well, her impact didn’t end there. It lives on through her son, through his work, and now through this event.

Pancreatic cancer is relentless. For many, the breakthroughs come too late.

But in their honor, we keep showing up.

We keep going.

We keep building something bigger than ourselves.

Because of people like Stephanie - and families like Austin’s - we’re not just remembering… we’re making a difference, just like she and Rick did.

And most don’t understand why.

Everyone says golf isn’t athletic…until you see someone try to swing fast.

Speed.
Mobility.
Stability.
Sequencing.
Coordination.

Not to mention the mental side of things.

Golfers are athletes.
