We ask that you keep MSR alum Sandy Browning in your prayers as he recovers from a serious accident and undergoes surgery and treatment for his injuries.

We also hold him and his loved ones close in prayer as they grieve the loss of his wife, Janice, who passed away as a result of the same accident.

Please keep their entire family surrounded with love, comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

Happy Sunday morning to you! We are starting the morning listening to Dr. Lisa Barnett share about Elizabeth Bartlett Grannis during Sunday School at First Christian Church in Springfield, Illinois. She preaches at 10:30 and we can’t wait to hear the word shares.

Dr. Warren Carter is in the midst teaching Sunday School at Eureka Christian Church in Eureka, Illinois. He will be in their pulpit again at 10:30am.

This Phillips Seminary Weekend has been such a wonderful success. So grateful to the region and to all our attendees.

We’ve started Day 2 of Phillips Seminary Weekend: Table Talk in the Living Waters region at Eureka CC. We had a fantastic first day with Dr. Warren Carter and Dr. Lisa Barnett and are eager to learn more today! We also spent a delightful hour at Eureka College with Dr. Joe Cunningham and Disciples students. You will also find a few CMLT students and alums in the crowd! It was exciting to be in person with Sylvia Laidig, Harold Smith, and Marcia Monier. Leslie Robb LeSieur Jenny Wynn

Big news worth celebrating!

Dr. Kris Tenny-Brittian, CMLT faculty member and former program coordinator, continues to inspire learners of every age with wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to growth. And that impact is being recognized beyond our walls.

Just yesterday, Dr. Kris was named Columbia Public School District’s Staff Person of the Month!

We are grateful for the leadership, encouragement, and steady presence Dr. Kris brings to students and communities alike. This recognition is so well deserved and just one more reminder of the difference one dedicated educator can make.

Join us in celebrating Dr. Kris!
