Women's Yoga Circle — A 4-Week Series - Starts June 3rd
Step into a space created just for you. This exclusive 4-week series brings together a small circle of six women for a yoga experience that goes far beyond the ordinary group class. With only six spots available, every session is thoughtfully tailored to the unique needs, goals, and rhythms of the women in the room.
Led by an instructor with 20 years of teaching experience, each 4-week journey is shaped around you — your body, your breath, and wherever you are in life right now. Whether you're returning to your mat after time away, navigating a season of stress or transition, or simply craving a more intentional practice, this circle meets you exactly where you are.
What makes this series different:
Truly personalized guidance — with just six participants, your instructor can offer hands-on attention, individual modifications, and cues that actually apply to your practice
A safe, supportive community — the intimacy of a small group creates a rare sense of trust and connection among women
Consistent progression — four weeks together means your instructor gets to know your body and can build a practice that evolves meaningfully week over week
Two decades of wisdom — your instructor brings 20 years of teaching experience across a range of styles and populations, offering depth that goes well beyond the basics
Spaces are intentionally limited to six women. This is not a drop-in class — it's a commitment to yourself and a community that's expecting you.

💚 Yoga teaches that every one of us has access to inner wisdom—and that we can trust our hearts when we slow down enough to actually listen. It also asks us to be discerning with “outside noise”: the pressure, the spin, the voices that try to make us doubt what we know deep down.
💚 Right now is a real-time invitation to pause. To set down the noise, take a few steady breaths, and check in with your heart. What does your inner knowing say? Does it align with what you’re hearing around you? If something feels off—tight, disconnected, confusing—can you stay curious and keep listening for what feels true, grounded, and humane?
💚 As a yoga community, we practice ahimsa (non-violence). That includes the violence we can direct inward—like a relentless inner critic—and the violence we can normalize outward through words, policies, or actions that harm others.
We do not condone dehumanizing or inhumane treatment of anyone. Not now. Not ever.
💚 We remain committed to peaceful co-existence, where differences can exist—so long as they do not cause harm.

After a basic 200-hour training, some instructors begin offering additional “healing” services—or making big claims about what their classes can do—without the training, supervision, or understanding needed to deliver those experiences safely.
And here’s the thing: yoga can be powerful, healthy, and life-giving.
But not every space is trauma-informed. Not every teacher is qualified for the depth of what they’re asking people to share or experience. And not every student who walks into a studio is prepared for what they might encounter.
You deserve yoga that’s ethical, evidence-informed, and honest about scope—with consent, options, and clear boundaries.
If you’ve ever felt confused, pressured, or “sold” healing in a yoga space… you’re not alone. 💛

I almost quit teaching yoga in 2018. I had experienced enough spiritual psychobabble that I wasn't really sure that yoga made sense anymore. Then I went to grad school in 2020 to become a psychotherapist and decided to focus my 60-hour graduate degree on studying the science of yoga. Not all yoga is created equally and this shows in the challenges when trying to study yoga. But is some yoga dangerous? Absolutely. I am currently creating resources on how to spot evidence-based yoga classes and when to know to walk away. Stay tuned!
Until then, here is a little snippet of positive neurological benefits of 'evidence-based' yoga.
Positive neurology is basically teaching your brain and nervous system new “default settings”—more safety, steadiness, and choice… and less reactivity, shutdown, or spinning out. In an evidence-based yoga practice, we do that by using breath + posture + attention to send clear signals to the body: “You’re safe. You can regulate. You can recover."
