Slight delay in updates. Tonight is race day at Millbridge Speedway but mom is forcing Giselle to sit this one out due to a minor hand injury from a couple weeks ago and EOG testing week.
A couple weeks ago Giselle had an impressive Wednesday night run, finishing 4th. Things went south Saturday. She wrecked in the heat, they fixed the car and she fought for a 6th place finish. Got home and the injury was a little more than we initially thought, a tiny fracture in her hand. It was small and she is already back 100% but we will sit this one out to be safe and because it’s that super fun week of End of Year testing at school.

Restricted Micro debut tonight at Millbridge Speedway. Completely blown away.
Giselle demanded she was ready to race…mom
being mom had doubts. Qualified 5th, 3rd to 2nd in her heat. Lap 1 of the feature she made a mistake and spun. Restarted in the back and that’s where she blew my mind. I thought we would ride around and get comfortable. Next thing I know she is passing cars and not lifting 😅 Headed into the night I asked Giselle if she knew how to pass and she said “nah, I guess I’ll figure it out”. Apparently she figured it out and finished the night 6th.
