WNNR Under the Lights

Tomorrow Night will be first Wednesday Night Nite Ride, so as we normally do we will roll at 5:30 from Lower Lot and ride Lo Chi trails, then return to the parking lot and head up the mountain at 6:00. We will do the Cold Turkey Race Course Lap first , in case you haven’t ridden it yet. Then we will head back up the mountain and ride until time to tailgate about 7:15 to 7:30. BYOB and we will be cooking brats and telling lies. Come and join in the fun !
Helmets , Lights & bikes are strongly recommended … If any Road Bikers want to ride the River Parks trails and join us for the tailgate , you are more than welcome !

One Week from Tonight , Wed Night Nite Ride begins, make sure you lights are charged, Rolling from lower lot at Turkey Mountain about 5:30 , starting with a lower loop , Lo Chi area, then return to lot to pickup those that couldn’t make 5:30, and then we head up the face of the mountain about 6:00 for another hour plus of Night Riding. Tailgate get together starts about 7:15 with bratz on the grill , BYOB. Any Road Riders that want to ride the Riverparks Paved Trails are welcome to the tailgate !!!

URBAN ASSAULT tomorrow Night (Wednesday) Leaving Neff Brewery at 6:00 pm , exploring Downtown and maybe a Libation stop or two, back to Neff about 8, no drop, letting Turkey dry out some more !!!

WNNR has been changed due to the rain this morning and Turkey Mountain is closed.

Come join us on an URBAN ASSAULT downtown Tulsa, rolling from Neff Brewery at 6:00 pm, (321 S Frankfurt) we will explore some alleys, steps and parking garages …. And probably some Hydration Stops, then some “tailgating” inside Neff after the ride

Wednesday Night Nite Ride is on tomorrow night *( Wed the 13th ), rolling from the LOWER LOT at 5:30 to do a Lochi Loop, then return to Lower Parking Lot and roll at 6:00pm, up the face of the mountain and over to the Upper lot, Then I suggest we do the race course loop , so you can learn new lines when you can’t see all the hazards , lol . Then about 7:15 ish we will tailgate in the lower lot , with brats and BYOL. Charge your lights and meet us out there, for a good time. Will need some pace setters for an A group & a B group, we can also have a C group ( no drop ), if we get enough takers.

Tonight is the First WNNR of the 2024 Season, alas I will miss , have Granddaughter duty in Colorado, will miss you guys and the Night Ride. I know of quite a few that still will be out there riding, so I hope your lights are charged and the MTB’s ready to go. We typically ride from the lower lot at 5:30 and do the lower trails around Lo Chi, then return to lower parking lot to head up the face of the mountain to get another hour to 1 / 2 hours of night riding in. And usually there is 2 or 3 groups from Fast to Steady.

Wednesday Night Nite Ride Crew, Change in Venue this week. Rolling at 6 pm out at Ray Hall’s Twisted Oak Trails. Get a little preride in for the upcoming 12 hours of Twisted Oak (March 30) or just a change of night riding trails. Afterwards brats will be available , byob and if you would like to contribute to the tailgate bring a side dish. Located at: 3311 S 255th W Ave , Sand Springs, OK ( Off of Coyote Trail just South West of the Keystone Dam about 1 mile )

HEY FELLOW MOUNTAIN BIKERS , IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN NIGHT RIDING AT TURKEY MOUNTAIN , PLEASE JOIN US ON THIS WEDNESDAY NITE, FOR OUR FIRST NIGHT RIDE OF THE SEASON. ROLLING FROM LOWER PARKING LOT AT 5;30 , GOING TO RIDE THE LOWER TRAILS FIRST (LO CHI) AND THEN RETURNING TO PICKUP ANY LATE COMERS. WE WILL THEN HEAD UP THE MOUNTAIN WITH OUR LIGHTS CHARGED AND SPIRITS SOARING. WE WILL PROBABLY BREAK INTO 2 GROUPS , ONE WITH THE HAMMER HEADS AND ONE A NO DROP PACE. WE WILL RETURN TO LOWER LOT ABOUT 7:15 TO COOK BRATS AND REHYDRATE, ALONG WITH SOME FRIENDLY MTB BS. COME JOIN US WITH YOUR FRIENDS !!!

With blistering cold temps arriving Thursday for several days, come Roll with us at 5:30 pm out of the lower lot at Turkey Mt with your batteries charged. There will be 2 groups , one for the flat bellied hammerheads and a chill group that won’t leave anyone behind …. We will do some of the lower trails first and then come thru the lower lot about 6:00 to pickup anyone who’s boss is trying to squeeze in deadlines before the holidays, Lets get the Holidays started with a great Nite ride, temps about 44 at the start and about 40 at the time the tailgate starts with brats and byob, may need something a little stronger than 5% at the end of this ride ….. Temperature looks great for Wed Night Nite Ride this week, sure some will be going out of town for T Day,
But there will be brats and beer flowing by 7:15 on Wed Night. Again rolling at 5:30 from lower lot and doing about 30 minutes of the lower trails then pickup any late comers about 6 from lower lot , then head up the face to the upper lot and ride till you can’t stand it.
Everyone is welcome, there will be a hammer group and a chill group so no one gets left behind , come get some dirt before stuffing your face on Thursday
