Easter weekend is the only weekend during competition season when there are no competitions—just a day of rest. A day to reflect, reset, and enjoy time with your family, friends, and those you love the most.
We hope you have a wonderful day, and as we reflect on our blessings today, we want you to know how much we appreciate all of you. We are truly grateful every single day for the opportunity to teach dance. 💛

McKenzi, owner of High Pointe Performing Arts, brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for developing confident, well-rounded dancers.

Known for her upbeat and energetic teaching style, McKenzi creates a positive and motivating environment where dancers are encouraged to grow both technically and personally. Trained in tap, jazz, pom, musical theater, tumbling, and cheer, she specializes in tap and musical theater choreography, with routines that have earned numerous overall and choreography awards.

McKenzi grew up in the studio under the direction of Audra Lee and Amanda Craven, and had the opportunity at a young age to study under the legendary Gregory Hines—an experience that solidified her love for dance and continues to inspire her teaching today.

She is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, work ethic, and a genuine love for the art, while always encouraging them to be kind, hardworking individuals both in and out of the studio.
