🏁 Meet the Port City Team: David & Becky ❤️

If you’ve grabbed a meal at the Port City Raceway concessions, chances are you’ve seen the wonderful duo who helps keep everyone fed on race night—David and Becky!

David is originally from Indiana and is an Army veteran, while Becky grew up in Arkansas. Their story together goes all the way back to 1963, when they met at a dance. They married in 1965 and have now shared an incredible 61 years of marriage!

Racing has been a part of David’s life for many years. A friend got him involved in racing, and David eventually started racing himself. He has a love for Late Models, and one of his favorite racing memories is his ’73 Nova SS—the best junkyard Late Model you could get!

These days, David and Becky are an important part of the Port City family, spending their race nights working hard in the concessions and serving up some of the best food at the track. When they’re not at Port City, their favorite thing to do together is simply spend time with each other. ❤️

They are proud parents of three children—one son and two daughters—and grandparents to nine grandchildren.

When it comes to cooking, there’s no debate… Becky is the better cook! 😉 Some of their favorite homemade meals include meatloaf and spaghetti.

Outside of the track, Becky enjoys ceramics and sewing, and she has spent nearly 20 years making ceramics for Purple Glaze. David enjoys his racing roots, and the two also enjoy traveling, with Branson being one of their favorite destinations for seeing shows.

But perhaps the best way to describe David and Becky is in their own words: they’re friendly people who really enjoy each other. And that kindness and warmth is something our Port City family gets to experience every race night.

We are so lucky to have David & Becky as part of the Port City team! Thank you both for all the hard work, great food, and friendly faces you bring to the track every week! 🏁❤️🍔

This special event will award Port City Raceway Show-Up Points, but the weekend’s events will be operated and officiated by the Pete Frazier Memorial and National Open Wheel 600 Series officials.
