Do you ever feel unmotivated?

Wanting to give up because you aren’t seeing the results of your hard work?

Ask yourself these questions.

▫️Have I been giving 100% effort toward my goals?
▫️How long have I been giving 100%?

If you answer yes to the first question then move to the second question.

If you answered no then it’s time reevaluate and attack the goal differently.

The second question if answered “not very long, a few weeks, a couple of months” you need to keep going!

Results do not happen over night.

You may see quick changes in the beginning of your journey but it takes many months or even a year+ to fully reach some goals.

This doesn’t only apply to fitness goals.

It relates to business and work goals, relationship goals, family goals.

Be patient in your pursuit.

You have to WANT it more than you want anything else.

Do double unders leave you frustrated?

Try this...

Practice them outside of a workout....

Don’t expect to be great at a skill you avoid until it’s time to use it in a workout.

5 minutes before or after a workout is a great time to brush up on a skill you want to learn.

Micheal Jordan didn’t become great by playing the game.

He became great behind the scenes, shooting free throws for hours and working on skills when nobody was watching.

3 ways maximize your results...

1.) Keep moving.
You’re going to get sore. It will hurt. That discomfort is a sign of your body putting in work that will create changes.
Don’t crush a workout and then rest for 4 days because you’re sore. Show up and move!

2.) Eat CARBS!
Carbs fuel your muscles. More muscle = more caloric burn!
Carbs are your friend!

3.) Have fun!
Yeah, it will suck to push your body to new limits... but if you’re having fun in the process you will continue to show up and do it again.

Bonus tip...
Seek professional guidance..
It’s too easy to get frustrated and give up after not seeing results in a week or two. Find a coach that can help you take all of the guess work out of the process and help guide you to your results.

In order to have big lifts you must have a strong core?

Don’t go running for a lifting belt and lift with your ego..

Lift smart!

Use lighter weight and slow down your reps.

Are lifting belts needed?
Only when performing HEAVY percentage work.

Lifting weight with a tempo can improve your strength and help you build the muscle needed to perform heavy lifts.

Leave that ego at home.

Fall off the resolution wagon again?

Studies show that the majority of resolutions fail by the third week of January.

Why is this?

Lack of accountability and direction.

We’re not sure where to actually begin so we wing it for a few weeks and see no difference.

This leads us to abandon our goals and enter back into our comfort zone.

If you want this year to be different, you’ll have to do things differently.

Find accountability in a coach, mentor and community.

Set a direction by descriptively labeling your goals and breaking them down into small more manageable goals with deadlines.
